Kumkum |
Kumkum and Co are getting older. The latest to join the fast forward bandwagon is Star's afternoon soap, Kumkum. It is learn that the channel folks had a meeting with the producers, BAG Films, a few days ago. The daily is slated to have a 20-year leap in April.
Along with the generation next, Kumkum will also air five days a week. Apparently Kumkum's actors have agreed to be part of the leap. Though the new cast has yet to be finalised, Kumkum (Juhi Parmar), who is pregnant, will deliver twins.
This will make her mother of three kids (there's already one child, Dhruv (Ronak Bhatiya) from Jatin (Anuj Saxena).
The leap will provide yet another twist to Kumkum and Sumeet's (Hussain Kuwajerwalla) saga. Meanwhile the character of Jatin's impersonator Manik (Saxena) makes an exit from the show when Kumkum's Gen Next arrives.
