Part 1

Reshmi is terrified of what Vikrant might do to her and begs Jyoti to save her. Jyoti assures her that she won't let anything happen to her. On Vikrant's end, Jyoti's words haunt him.

At his end, Vikrant is worried about Jyoti's ultimatum. Kabir comes in and asks him what is bothering him, but Vikrant denies anything. Kabir notices the number on Vikrant's phone w/ the name he had given Reshmi, and Vikrant tells him that he noted it since he's getting the same call. Kabir tells Vikrant that he knows Vikrant can't do anything wrong, and tells him that he expects that Vikrant never do anything that disgraces himself or the family.

Back @ home, Deepu is eating, and everyone is wondering why Jyoti is home so late. Poonam sarcastically says that Jyoti promised not to return empty handed. She doesn't - Jyoti returns w/ Reshmi 😆🤣 Jyoti tells Dadi & Padma that Reshmi will stay w/ them for a few days, and Poonam comes unhinged. 😆 She then goes off on how Jyoti can't earn anything for the family, but is just good @ bringing in new liabilities. This time, Deepu is somewhat restrained in trying to silence her, and Dadi too tries to make her stop, but in vain.

Part 2

Now, Jyoti explodes and starts giving Poonam a bhashan of her own. She tells her that she realizes that they all are putting up courtesy Poonam's dad (if this is such an issue, why doesn't Jyoti directly call Poonam's dad, explain everything to him and ask him where he stands, and if he agrees w/ her, to shut Poonam up) but one more mouth for a few days is not going to hurt. She tells Poonam that everybody comes w/ their good and bad, but in the end are all human. Poonam protests to Deepu that the same baggage that Jyoti herself brought into the family in Udaipur, she's now importing here in Jaipur. She challenges Jyoti to earn even Rs 100 before giving them such bhashans. Dadi shuts Poonam up and asks Deepu to escort her out of the room.

In Jyoti's room, Reshmi tells her that she doesn't want to be the cause of discord in Jyoti's family, but Jyoti now starts giving her another bhashan (looks like Jyoti has been bitten by the bhashan bug today 😆) She tells her that if she leaves, any other place she goes may have even more troubles (incidentally, doesn't Reshmi have her own parents, et al? Or will they discard her due to the izzat factor?) Padma brings in food which Reshmi doesn't want to eat, but Padma tells her that the kid inside her needs it.

Vikrant is in his room very tense about Jyoti's threat, when Bhavri comes in and scares him 😆 Vikrant tells her that she totally scared him, and Bhavri tells him that she knows everything. Vikrant is scared and asked her what she knows, and she tells him that he's waiting for something that he fears. 😆 She teases him that he's going to watch a scary movie, and afraid of what will happen to him after he's done watching it. Vikrant tells her that he's not in a mood for jokes, and she tells him to eat, and besides, who knows whether he'll get this opportunity again or not. Vikrant asks her to explain, and she tells him that when he sits to watch the movie, he won't get a chance to get up 😆🤣 She then turns to him and teases him some more, telling him that his mom was thinking of him, and that's what she came to tell him. (While this scene may have seemed meaningless for Jyoti viewers, since Vikrant was Lakshman & Bhavri was Urmila in the Ramayan, this scene was pretty funny for Ramayan fans who never got to see any Lakshman-Urmila moments 😆)

Bhavri leaves, and Vikrant again starts recalling Jyoti's ultimatum. He then looks @ his phone and says that since this is the only way to track him, he'll turn it off and leave the haveli for some time. (Vikrant, if they have your number, they can find out the address from the phone company) Also, nobody knows him as a Rex in this haveli.

Next day, Jyoti is haggling w/ a vendor over vegetable prices, and after getting what she wants, is told that there are no plastic bags, and paper bags are too expensive. The vendor tells her that it doesn't cost much to make, but a bag that should cost 10p to make is being charged 35p, since very few people make it, so they charge what they like.

Part 3

Jyoti gets an idea, and asks the vendor whether he'll accept it @ 25p? The vendor tells her the entire market will take it, and she'll get a loot. Jyoti goes home, pulls out a stack of newspapers, and gets to work. Dadi asks her what's it about, and Jyoti tells her that in the bazar, paper bags are expensive, so she decided to make some money by making paper bags herself and selling it. Dadi protests that Jyoti is far too educated for that sort of work, but Jyoti reminds her that her father used to say that no work is too small. She points out that all she needs to do is cut paper and stick it together - what could be easier?

Deepu & Poonam are there, and Deepu demands to know whether it was Poonam's remarks that provoked it? Jyoti reminds Deepu that he too started as a courier boy, and that he too said that no work is too small. Deepu wishes her well, and leaves.

Jyoti starts putting these together, tossing some along the way, and soon, Padma & Dadi join her. Reshmi, who's watching all this from another room, too comes up to help, & @ the end, they've made quite a bundle. Jyoti then takes it to the vendor and sells it to him, telling him there are 1000 of them, and gets Rs 250 from him w/o him even counting. She returns home excited about this, and thanks everybody, including Poonam, for putting her on this path. Poonam forces a smile, after seeing her weird reaction.

Jyoti then goes to Reshmi and thanks her, telling her that she had lost all hope, until Reshmi came along. And after seeing this opportunity, she found a new calling. She promises Reshmi that she too will get justice.

The phone rings, and Jyoti asks the inspector what it is. The inspector tells her that her work is done - the number she gave them, they identified it. The scene ends. (I'm guessing that the inspector was being sarcastic - from the beginning, he didn't have the remotest intention of being helpful, and if he's found out that the phone traces back to someone in the Jodhpur mayor's family, he's even less likely to be helpful).

Comments

A really boring episode, after the initial fireworks b/w Poonam & Jyoti over bringing Reshmi over. Okay, Jyoti beat Poonam in the bet, but really, for the type of things Jyoti likes to achieve, is selling paper bags really going to do it? I agreed w/ Poonam - after all, if Jyoti brings in Reshmi, she can bring in any number of girls in similar situations.

Also, if Jyoti can give Poonam such a bhashan today when defending Reshmi, why can't she do the same when defending her own self? Doesn't make sense - but then, little in this serial does, any more!

The only light hearted moment today was the one b/w Vikrant & Bhavri. Like I noted above, totally irrelevant for Jyoti viewers, but for people who saw the Ramayan, it was a disguised Lakshman-Urmila moment - which the Ramayan hardly had.

Episode rating: 👎🏼

👍🏼: The Vikrant-Bhavri moment

👎🏼: Too boring - Jyoti's bhashan to everyone - Poonam, Reshmi, and tomorrow, the inspector

thanx Vrisha 4 a wonderful update👍🏼 good that i didn't watch it. i'm tired of all these pyaar ki nishaanis & bhashans i need a break. the vikrant-bhavri moment sounds interesting👍🏼
i really wonder what would have jyoti done if she knew karate or teakwondo or kungfu🤪 the answer is that woh sirf baaton se hi nahin balki laaton se bhi maarti🤣 no offense plz. just a joke. as the episodes get boring, such jokes are needed to ligthen up this forum LOL!
the dialogue writer seems to be very fond of jyoti's bhashans & writes down a lot so that jyoti can just go on & on & on
one thing that i've not understood till now is that what makes her say that rashmi's unborn child is pyaar ki nishani what does she know about her to life to pass on such a comment regarding roshni... jyoti always said that this is her child, later on she didn't say this was her pyaar ki nishani(after she realized pankaj is not hers), i just want to say is that what rights does she have to interfere in everybody's personal life & make them feel like they are the biggest criminals in this entire universe rashmi is the mother of the child, she is the one who has the rights to decide what is good for her child not Jyoti. i really don't understand jyoti. she always does whatever she thinks is right, she won't listen to others. then in that case why does she want the whole world to do what she wants

🤣
this was my reaction when I watched yesterdays episodis........It was the funniest of episode till now..........I wonder where the story is going.........padma being so good I just cannot digest it.........if kk's death had made her so good than he should have died before jyoti wouldn't have faced so much trouble in life.
Secondly jyoti had opened a cottage industry of making bags........what will be the name of her cottage industry............jyoti paper bags mart 🤣
After few days when kabir will return in jyoti's life she willl completely forget about her work and dadi and padma will have to continue it.😆

this song is dedicated from kalika to jyoti from movie aankhen........ this song really suits her.
Phatela jeb sil jaayega, jo chaahega mil jaayega
Tere bhi din aayenge chhote, achcha khaasa hil jaanyega
Rukne ka nahin, thakne ka nahin, life mein chalte rehne ka
Arre bheja kyun sarka ne ka
Sahi bolta sahi bolta
Tension kaayko lene ka
Sahi bolta sahi bolta
Phatela jeb sil jaayega, jo chaahega mil jaayega
Tere bhi din aayenge chhote, achcha khaasa hil jaanyega
Rukne ka nahin, thakne ka nahin, life mein chalte rehne ka
Arre bheja kyun sarka ne ka
Sahi bolta sahi bolta
Tension kaayko lene ka
Sahi bolta sahi bolta

Khaane ka hai chicken curry, usko mangta pati hari
Jeb main tere dus rupiya, peele cutting khaale bhajiya
Khaane ka hai chicken curry, usko mangta pati hari
Jeb main tere dus rupiya, peele cutting khaale bhajiya
Kismat pe, rone ka nahin, calender badalte rehne ka
Arre bheja kyun sarka ne ka
Sahi bolta sahi bolta
Nitin Tension kaayko lene ka
Sahi bolta sahi bolta

Aaj to hai andhera, kal hoga ujaala
Arre apni diwaali hogi, kisi aur ka hoga diwaala
Kal dekh lenga paisa, hoga goni bhar kar
Income tax officer, toh haath dhoke hi peechhe pad jaayega ha ha ha!

OMG??? No Kalika....
Andhon waala gaana?
This shall only remind us of Psycho ji, whom we do not need right now,
atleast till Kabir-Jyoti reunite, then we can have his re-entry for the return of Roshni...

And I am way too irritated with Jyoti's Bhaashans.
This show is based on reality and if this is so, Jyoti should stop being so Adarshwaadi,

And OK fine she's asking Rashmi to keep the child,
but the reason should be somewhat realistic na,
Like this child is the only way to prove Rags aka Vikrant guilty by DNA test when it is born,
or more importantly she should not risk her life,
or even motherly attachment waala lecture was tolerable.
But what is this pyaar ki nishaani and all.

Well, we can call Roshni Jyoti's pyaar ki nishaani, coz Roshni came into existance because of Pankaj-Jyoti's love, but the same isn't true for Rashmi na,
What Rashmi did was simply in oblivion and stupidity and its defo not love for Vikrant's side.
I feel like the very word love getting insulted when she refers to the child as "Pyaar ki Nishani" 😡

Everybody

Just to clarify, Jyoti did not call it a pyaar ka nishani for Reshmi - she did everything short of that, which was bad enough in itself. She told Reshmi that that child was a part of her, her blood 🤔 and she therefore didn't have a right to kill it. Jyoti had no idea about the relationship b/w Reshmi & Rex/Rags, and so she didn't say it. It was Reshmi who told Vikrant that when he came to threaten her, and Vikrant just laughed @ her for saying it.

Vik

That's the most irritating aspect of Jyoti - she's too nosy, is always around to listen to private conversations, interfare in other people's stuff and try and impose her views on others, whether it's Sushma, Reshmi, Uday or whoever. I really can't wait for her to be @ the receiving end of Sumer.

Kalika

I was in 2 minds about Jyoti's new 'enterprise' - on one hand, she's fulfilling a demand and putting meager cash on the table, so didn't feel like lampooning her, but her excitement @ earning Rs250 was totally out of proportion, given that in the past, she would make Rs20k w/ Bhagya-da teaching dancing. Incidentally, why is it impossible for her to get an Office Assistant job in Jaipur, where nobody knows her? In Udaipur, I can understand - the first time she went job hunting after being kicked out, rumors of her reputation followed her, and so she was denied a job, and second time, she was bluntly discriminated against for being pregnant. But now, she has no such problem - in this city, nobody knows her, and she could easily pass off as single. Yeah, one jerk tried to harass her after prying out her private information (incidentally, why can't she tell an employer that she's single, and that's the end of it?) but it's not like all employers are like that. But then she got side-tracked by Reshmi, and now is on this paper bag thing.

Yeah, I can see Jyoti abruptly forgetting about his and dropping it, and then, either Padma & Dadi will have to do it, or it will stop altogether and there will again be a shortage in the bazar. Incidentally, why can't Deepu ask Poonam to find a job as well? Surely, she can do something more profitable - like run her own beauty parlor or something?

Also, I agree that Padma is now unbelievably nice to Jyoti - it's in fact more unbelievable than St Brij. All the misery that Jyoti has gone thru in life is thanks to Padma, or else, had Jyoti never been deceived by her, she'd never have married Pankaj and gone thru this misery, and she'd probably have gotten Kabir a lot more easily. Another thing - initially, Poonam was not hostile to Jyoti, but after seeing the way Padma treats Jyoti, she took her cue and picked up. Just b'cos the Sharmas are fickle and Padma is today changed doesn't mean that Poonam has to as well - she has a right to stick to opinions formed by constant bombarding by Padma, Dadi & even Jyoti herself.

I'm longing for Padma to be the next to drop - I still hate her and always will, and I want her to be out of everyone's life. And yeah, not just Reshmi, but Jyoti too should leave the house: what does she think - Poonam is going to be okay w/ her just sitting @ home & making paper bags out of newspapers every day? No family can be sustained on that alone. Also, how long must it have taken the 4 of them - Jyoti, Dadi, Padma & Reshmi - to make 1000 of those?

To me it was not boring episode; as it is further step of Jyoti towards meeting

Kabir. We can't accept always Positive and entertaining episode. Need to go

thru up and down. Changes never happen over night. If Jyoti-Kabir

reunites so easily and fast then there won't be story remaining.

Some viewers may not like story or concept change what Jyoti was before and now.

I say Changes are always acceptable.

Will wait and watch.
