frnds i often DID wunder and pratigya has me thinking all over again as to what is the real tool behind a womans power??? her determination fine, her confidence , her education , her background , all fine , but above all is it not her LOOKS that has her sailing thru things, the way she would want?????????? would krishna have been as supportive of his wife if she wuld have luked like kesar???? wuld he have put up with so many tantrums??? even if kesar had wanted culd she have got away with so much as prats ??? i f shakti had a wife like prats wuldnt he have indulged her more??? of course he wuld make sure that he got what he wanted but he wuld surly find himself more drawn towards her! at the end of the day, prats alwaz needs krishna to get things done her way, so wont it be mre appropriate to say that a womans power comes from manpower and she gets that man power far more easily if she is rather beautiful? how can cvs call this show truly a mirror of reality??? wat about the more plain luking woman, will she be as lucky or will she be dumped by her man for throwing so many tantrums?? say folks am confused😕

Gees, you raised an important question and I want to answer it very seriously.

Yes, how a woman looks is an important part of who she is. But there is somehting even more important, namely confidence and courage, self esteem, self image.

The beautiful Halle Berry said once that being considered beautiful hadn't brought her anything more than it brought any other woman. It did not guard her against abusive men, unfaithful men, or insecurity or fears or unfairness.
Beauty sometimes brings its own burdens. The most beautiful woman can be unhappy thinking that her nose is not perfect or that people around her value her for the wrong things. The most homely woman can be perfectly happy with who she is.

Beauty goes a little way, sure but it doesn't accomplish anything beyond the first few steps. I think we place too much importance on a fairly superficial aspect.

Gees you actually pointed out a very good point. We often say that outer look never matters, its inner beauty which matters but how many of us actually follow this? Most of the guys even educated guys also go after woman's looks. Its sad but true that still now women are judged by their outer beauty.

You have brought up a good point, looks do matter it may be sad but it's a fact of life and very much a reality. I don't' believe in love at first sight so according to me the first time Krishna saw prats he was attracted towards her because of her beauty, but as time progressed and he was able to observer her behavior more closely he fell in love with her simplicity, her values, caring nature, her fearlessness, and willingness to stand up for herself as well as for the truth.

Looks make a difference but a person's personality makes them even more beautiful. Krishna listens to prats and tries to understand her because he loves her and because he knows she is usually right not only because she is pretty.

As for shakti he never tried to understand his wife, which is obvious through his behavior towards her. If he had given her some time and tried to get to know her he would have seen how beautiful she truly was on the inside, she is kind, understanding, caring, and tolerates him despite his flaws.

This show is quite realistic in this aspect you can only see a person's true beauty if you are willing to understand them, and not only pay attention to their outward appearance.
