SAnia Mirza wears this quote on her T-shirt, strictly speaking as Aparna has said it has several limited and wide interpretations at the same time .
For young women it may mean rebellion but in what sense, surely If Sania rebels and behaves like a pop star she will loose her game and her popularity will be on the downslide. For people of my age I would interpret it as doing something extraordinary and making a name for your self but it does not mean bending rules.
I would say women going to the extremes as far as their capabilites are concerned and making a name for themselves are breaking set patterns that are associated with them they are creating history without much sound and fury.
Recently Girija Devi of Bihar a poor woman was asked to represent India at the UN, she in my eyes managed to create a space for herself in a world where glamour and right packaging is needed to attract attention.

On the contrary, it is only the well behaved woman who makes history. The rest just make news.
