Monday's Plethora of Motives

This Monday's episode offered us a wide plethora of scenes all gravitating towards the current track. The forecast calls abduction of the lawyer, revelations of a few select truths that could make the Takurs's heads spin😲 all in the name of freeing Prof. Saxena.😕

Celebrate: Adarsh, the timid cat in the Sax family walked into the green house with a sense of pride and jubilation for having found a lawyer to represent his Papa. Dadi was grateful to the Lord while Nainaji was concerned about finding legal counsel against the wishes of her pati and samandh SS. The Prof. wanted to protect his favorite daughter Prat'ss naam ke vaste shaadi, so Adarsh, the real culprit magnanimously let his Papa take the blame for Angad's death. He was celebrating finding legal counsel Aman Mathur to representate his Papa. He believed everyone had their own way of dealing with the situation, and don't we know his way?

Manipulate:👎🏼Back at the Takur Niwas, SS gabe Baba a back rub and filled his head with enough chatter to confuse the young man even more. SS hid the details of his plans to undermine Prat's plans to vindicate her Papa while he planned to win the election by hook or by crook.

Incriminate & Instigate: 😡😈Prats walks into the Takur den where each member of the family lay in wait for a different reason. Katra Naresh let loose all his pent-up rage 😡at Prats and reminded her how a good bahu was supposed to behave and he gave Kesar as the shining example. Wah! For once in his life he was appreciative of his beebi😃. Who would have thunk it! 😲He confronted Prats for standing up to bauji to which she very quietly and confidently, decided to remind these folks with a poor memory that she was indeed "Iss ghar ki bahu hain". Katra Naresh looked taken aback,😲 as if it was news to him. Amma took her turn to remind Prats she was talking back to the "mard" in the family and accused Prats for not giving a care about Baba's feelings in the matter.😈 Baba influenced by all the talk in the room decided to incriminate his beebi for not giving a hoot about what her pati or sasural. Amma looked on with pride at her Baba for taking some of the load off her hands in verbally smacking down her babu. SS, being the snake in the grass,😈 pretended to shut Baba up while trying to help Prats. Prats was on to his sly fox persona and had an impressive comeback.👏 She played SS at his own game very well. She exposed his Saguni like chalaki games to Krishna who seriously seemed to consider the possibility.😕 She challenged SS to find her a lawyer for her father while she exposed the truth about every lawyer in town being intimidated by SS and refusing to take on the case, including a famous one. This round of challenge from Prat had the wheels in Baba's head turning.😍 However they managed to intimidate her enough to make her leave the room.😒

Contemplate: 😍Through all of this chatter between Amma, SS and Katra Naresh each trying to out do the other in trying to intimidate Prats, Baba sat there contemplating 😍all that was going on in that large square hall. Kudos to Arhaan,👏 watching him portray the scene with a nuanced range of emotions flitting across his face was an added bonus.😃😉

Investigate: 😵 SS sends Katra Naresh to carry out his mission of finding Aman Mathur,🤔 which the old faithful son jumped at the chance to carry out. Baba continued to watch each person's strategic move with confusion.😕😲😉

Ingratiate: 👎🏼 Amma took to her usual ploy of feeding Baba sweets 😊with bitter intentions😈 and Baba being the man-child who loves to be pampered went along and enjoyed a morsel of mitaai fed by his loving but conniving Amma. Hope Baba realized every time his Amma hand-fed a favorite food, she was simulataneously poisoning his mind.😲😕

Cooperate:👍🏼🤗 Prats really has trouble initiating conversations esp. with Baba. She paced up and down the small bedroom, which took no more than four short steps before she found herself almost running smack into the wall. Baba called her on her pareshaani pacing which activated her vocal chords immediately. Hats off to Prats today 👏for talking to Krishna as an equal partner. She didn't talk down to him nor did she give him a three min baashan. She was surprised 😲that Baba was supportive of engaging Mathur as legal counsel after he realized the others were intimidated by bauji and refused to take the case.😳😉

Intimidate: 😡 Katra Naresh proved he is his father's goon ready to do his bidding but gets no respect either way. He went in search of Mathur who decided to let Katra Naresh do all his talking, dumkhis and all😡. KN tried to intimidate the vakil saheb who stood in silence as he raved and ranted. Mathur didn't seem to care two pennies that he was Sakthi Singh either😛. When KN left his usual gross actions of spitting and sniffing his fingers could easily have been edited as it was unpleasant sight for viewers. Yuck! He is one lousy Takur in more ways than one.

Preview: 😲Mathur is taking a midnight stroll down the street when a van similar to the one Prats was abducted in pulls up, a couple of goons decide to throw a gunny sack over his head and wiiilingly goes along for the ride in the van. Maybe he wanted to do his own detective work on the Takurs motives for wanting to keep him from representing Prof. Saxena. Are we sure it's not Angad who is KN's brother? They spit where they please, give evil glances and even their kidnapping plots are so similar it makes one wonder.😲😆 BTW, Isn't it a federal crime to abduct a lawyer?😕

The way I see it SS and Prats are krish's only two vulnerabilities in his entire world. his love and loyalty to these two has often resulted in him acting against his basic instincts and not paying attention to subtle nuances and things happening around him. he tries to please both whenever he can without favouring one or the other. it is not as easy to do as it sounds and this a facet of his character I appeciate.

however, he is gradually realizing that both Prats and SS are playing him. I saw it on his face today and what he said to prats in the room. he came up with a very practical solution. let SS do whatever he wants and prats you do whatever you want. What will be interesting to see is how he will react when the lawyer is kidnapped. because as long as both his dad and his wife are playing from their end of the court its fair play. but when SS kidnaps the lawyer he infringes on her side and that ends the fair play. I am interested in seeing his reaction. he said he will not let any nainsaafi happen to her. so does that mean that he will kidnap the lawyer from under SS and Shatki's nose and bring him back to fight the case to even the playing field???

when she came home, he was hurting In fact he has been hurting all week and as he did not know about his dad's involvement he did not understand her reason for inisisting on this lawyer so he voiced his discontent at her adamance (he had no other explanation for her insistence). However, what I appreciated is even when he was very upset and hurt he immediately stood up when he realized Shakti might harm her physically. Also as soon as his dad let go of his arm, he immediately placed himself in between her and Shakti. Considering he did not know why she was talking back to her dad, he was right in telling her to speak with the respect due to his father. however, the minute she presented her case he started THINKING AND RATIONALIZING you could see him work things out in his brain. that is always a good sign. he has not been shown to be very deductive or observant for a while now.

was not overtly worried about the scene with his mom. his relationship with her is not the same as his relationship with his dad. he trusts, loves and respects his dad unconditionally unlike his mom. he has only seen SS unreasonable(in his estimation) to Prats once after the slap incident when he told her that her return was conditional upon an apology. however, that slate was whipped clean when he came to take her back with band baja. however, he has seen his mom be rude to prats without provocation on multiple occasions and also seen her scheming to oust prats visibly. so while he sat down and ate the laddo to pacify her I do not think her words had any major effect.

I had a mixed reaction to prats scene today. 1st one. the "I am the bahu" statement made no sense to me. I saw no connection to the question asked. however, I did very much like the fact that when krish asked what she meant she told him her POV truthfully even though SS, Shakti and Amma looked like they wanted to jump down her throat. I liked that.

Found the whole pacing thing very funny though. She always seems to run or pace. all that exercise and she does not even looked toned.

loved the Shakti - lawyer scene. seemed realistic for Allahabad. loved shakti's entry even though I do not like Shakti as a character. today was Aman's first true run-in with the sher and the chiddiya. tomorrow he will experience the chiddiyah and sher bhag.😆. Anyways, there was no prats influenced singh today and my initial guess that Shakti was bigger and taller than Aman was proved correct. let the games begin.😆😆😆

I have to say in the precap they were unfair to the lawyer. they kidnapped him without giving him a chance to grab the Indian Penal Code book. arre without the rule book how can he protect himself. each word and page is like a sword that he is going to use to fight SS and Shakti and escape from this kidnapping.😆

Krishna portrayed many aspects of his emotions today extremely well, loved his expressions as well as prats dialogues and expressions. and I agree it was nice to see prats and Krishna compromise and understand each others POV's. But, when Krishna finds out about aman's kidnapping he should already know who was behind it, I wonder how he will deal with this situation he did promise her he would never let any injustice happen to her 😕

Mera very well written 👏 👏 👏 I found it funny too when amma came to baba with a plate full of sweets ,i remembered the previous episode where she keeps on feeding baba with lychees and kept poisoning his mind abt getting him remarried... 😆 😆 god this woman never leaves a chance...

I find it intriguing too..y is it in all serials and movies they use this particular kindaa van to Apaharan (kidnap)...Even Komal has this doubtful expression on her face when Nainaji said both ways we will be one who gets hurt 😕 ...

Today's episode proved Arhaan is an excellent actor ...Arhaan is acting Hunar ke saath paida hua hai... 😊

The law of kidnapping is difficult to define with precision because it varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

Angad, and his two headless arms (jugnu and unlucky) could have been a free bird or a jail bird for kidnapped pratz.

But isn't there a law at the Central Govt. level that has some sort of criminal code for abducting vakils?😕

You know, I must say. I think Adarsh gets a rough rap because he seems to fulfill everything that I would want in an eldest son. I.e protecting the family and all, however it seems to me, that the only difference between him and pratigya, is that he listens to his parents while she has the confidence to override them if she thinks what she's doing is correct.

He seems to be the Alpha-male type, however he seems to be always held back by his parents, especially his father.

Alpha men aren't concerned with others opinions, they control every situation. They are energetic and not overly excited. know how to control their voice and tone to their advantage. They have a solid frame of mind and self-confidence and know how to command a woman's attention. When you see the alpha men in romance novels none of them resemble Adarsh. Look at the way he treats Komal after being the one to propose marriage to her. He is an introvert and we saw one instance he warmed up to Komal that too after she gave him a hug. I don't see him fit the definition of an alpha male as generally known.

Today's Krishna proved that no matter what he will go by his own analysis. He has that self managing capability, may call it his instinct or gut, to think objectively in the harsh environment....

I wonder ff Krishna is the one who Kidnaps lawyer. I sensed he was kind of evading Pratigya when he said he is OK with Amman...he was watching Pratigya closely...Also he expressed his concern on Shyam ji. If Krishna kidnaps Lawyer,
1. He wants to know, if he is capable to fight the case
2. Now, that he sensed his father may be playing game, he wants to protect Amman from SS by making first move...

Whatever it is his intention will be to help Pratigya...


Two sentences did not make anysense for today's situation
1. Pratigya telling 'She is the BAHU'
2. Krishna telling Pratigya 'Ehasaan Faraamosh'


The situation they were in did not call for these dialog. It sounded like, pearly grey want to score some points by inserting spicy dialog just like B-grade movies....

I think it will be bec' the Takurs will find out about Prats's kidnapping and may ask Baba to throw her out but he will take her to Pratigya Niwas, maybe? Adarsh's role in the Angad fall will be revealed and he may trade places with Papa for a while before Komal tells her bauji to get her pati out of jail.

The irony will be Komal who only a few days ago said what's the big deal about sasurji being in jail for a few months till the elections, her dad can move mountains and will take care of it after he's elected. Now that her pati may end behind bars wonder if she still feels that way. Or maybe she thinks that time in jail will snap Adarsh out of his dumb state.😕
