Yes Riddhima deserved to be there!
She makes him happy as you can tell from the song sequence.

Plus thankgod Riddhima was there because we got a KaJen segment after SOOOOOOOOO long! 😍 😍 😍

Well Karan explained why Ridhima appears because whenever Armaan thinks of love he thinks of her even though I wish it was only ArSh but he makes a good point. Only with time will he "move on" but until then well I guess RIdhima will be following him. I just hope that there are more ArSh scenes during the song LOL.
