Sana Panscholi to make her debut

Aditya Panscholi and Zarina Wahab's daughter Sana will soon be making her acting debut in 'Direct Dil Se' opposite VJ Ranvijay. The film, which is scheduled to be shot in London, will be directed by debutant Nishant Goyal.

Says the young debutante, who has just finished giving her 12th standard exams, I've always wanted to be an actress, although the interest did wane a little in between. But now, I'm sure that films are something that I want to pursue."

Sana, who has trained in Kathak and Bollywood dancing, says that her mom and dad approve of her choice of career. "They are happy for me and have not put any undue pressure on me." Have they offered her any advice? "Not yet, but I am sure it will follow soon."

About her character Sana says, "I play a young collegian who is the only Indian girl in a London University. It is a sweet, fun-filled comedy. I am not allowed to say anything more."

Sana's debut film happened quite by chance, "I had auditioned for another movie and Nishant happened to see my pictures, liked them and expressed his desire to meet me. He met me with my mother, I auditioned and got selected."

But while she is very excited, she is also quite nervous. "I'm a bit worried about facing the camera for the first time."

The film will be co-produced by Viveck Vaswani's Insight Productions and UK-based Motion Pictures Partners International.
