Alrite... I understand she was molested by his dad and he is a rape child who reminds RadhaBua constantly of her rapist so naturally she doesn't want to look at him. She doesn't want to talk to him or even acknowledge him.
But if she is related to this family isn' he too??? If she doesn't want to be cordial to him... fine but why the hell is she stopping everyone else from talking to him? Suhaana wasn't even talking to him about who he is or anything of that sort. She was just making random conversation about sports with him and Radha Bua suddenly started being mean about the whole thing. And what's with Rajni and Rano pulling Suhaana away like it was some crime to talk to Deepak.
So basically the only people who can talk to Deepak are Dada, Dadi and BadiMaa??? because RadhaBua is younger to them and so won't tell them off like she keeps doing it to her son???

Off topic - Actually Radha's character is one that truly confuses me. If you cannot bear to look at the child born as a result of rape, you shouldn't have given birth to him in first place. If you have the willingness to carry it in your womb for nine months and go through intense labor to bring it into this world, then why disown it once it is born? It is like condemning someone for life, and that too purposefully/willfully!

Although what happened to Radha was the worst possible thing that can happen to ANY woman, she as a mother first and human being later is doing a far bigger crime by treating Deepak so...almost like she is punishing him for the crime he didn't commit.

Just my POV, no offense intended to anyone.

On topic - But since she has already made her choice, she doesn't want anyone to accept Deepak either. Which is why she doesn't want any of the younger generation bonding with him. She cannot control her emotions and neither can she rag the elders of the house into doing what she wants. So she is venting her frustration out on the most easy target - Suhana, who due to her child-like enthusiasm and curiosity loves to court trouble. 😃

Edit: I am running with the assumption that Radha treated Deepak unfairly ever since his birth.

I just love to read everyone's POV here in SGP forum especially...U guys r just.....GREAT...

So lemme share my POV too😳Well actually if u have seen yesterday's episode...Radha Bua says that she has no grudges against Deepak(Radha Bua-Badi Ma convo)...Its just "THE FACE" of Deepak which irritates her...coz Deepak resembles the rapist who physically assaulted Radha Bua...so I guess whenever she sees Deepak...she feels uneasy...and that too when he is her child!!!

Just making a guess, Radha bua stance may have hardened as the son started to grow-up, and started resembling his father in looks. May be, she does not want him to mingle with the family members because of her fear that he has his father's genes too ... what if he also turns out be a monster.

@LadyM: Radha bua's character may look confusing because she tries to give positive outlook a chance, but the negativity of past has a strong grasp on her, and she is not able to break free and breathe in fresh air.

@LadyMacbeth.. This is just my guess.. I think Radha Bua must not have known that she is pregnent... B'cos she was raped and she still think of the incident as it happened yesterday so naturally at that time she must be going thru a lot and cud have been under major mental stress and in this stuation sometimes women fail to notice that she is carrying a child in her womb and later wen she must have come to know, it was too late to abort the child.. So she with no other option must have given birth to the child..and she still considers the child as her misfortune

An ... you are right. But it is not that aspect that confuses me. I can understand her trying hard to move on, but being unable to do so due to Deepak's "face" serving as a constant reminder of her horror.

But I cannot understand why mothers like her give birth to children conceived as a result of rape only to disown them later. It is the worst punishment you can ever give a child. It just pains me.

Tina - She could've given up him for adoption. At least he would've had a chance at a better life. Look she has all my empathy for going through the most horrible experience of her life, but I am still thinking about the innocent child who's had to live like a pariah all his life. How brutal is that? And what is his fault?

Yup...Thats really bad...neways since SGP is close to reality and not like other shows...they will surely show a logical end to this track of Deepak-Radha Bua...coz this love-hate relationship ain't ending soon....

As the poster above provided the reason ... may be she was too shell-shocked to realize her pregnancy, and then it was quite late to abort.

I felt for Deepak too ... the longing for his mother, and wanting to share all his achievements and then to be snubbed. But, as Radha bua said to Badi Ma: koi meri taqlif bhi to samjhe.

That's true Shounak ... I am finding it hard to visualize how Suhana is going to be instrumental in bringing closure to a subject like this ... after having hated him his entire life, a person like Radha cannot accept that all izz well so easily ....

An - The whole Kashyap family feels her "taqlif". That's why they love her, respect her, tolerate her eccentricities and treat her like their own. But what about Deepak? Who understands his "taqlif" other than Dada, Dadi and Badi Maa? He has to live with the constant feeling of being an unwanted child ... how heart wrenching is that?
