Not just Baaji, even Babi herself did not sound very convinced herself when she said it (that he had gone ahead to make arrangements). Now, why would he do that when Baaji had told him he was to personally drive the entire family to the new city and see them settle.
Actually, I hope he runs far, far away so I do not have to see his face again. He is such an irritating character. Good riddance!
