Dear all,

I would firstly like to introduce myself to you all and say a warm welcome! I wouldn't say I'm new here, although it's my first visit and first post! My name is Sana, if my username doesn't say it all!

Please note: this post is neither to bash anyone nor to intentionally hurt anyone. It's my very own point of view and opinion. Open comments and opinions are welcome, just baring in mind no one is hurt in the process, as I've read many posts that target certain groups of fans and people.

I sincerely appreciate all the hardwork that the CVs are putting in to make this serial run successfully! Their interpretation of what is called true love maybe different to what possibly other may have. The interpretation of what true love that is shown in bollywood films is absolutely different to what is shown in Dill Mill Gayye. Therefore in my opinion I don't think their meaning is wrong.

Dill mill toh gayye hain lekin raastey mein kahin kho gayye hain! Purely because situations and circumstances changed in which everyone lost their love. Why? Because there was at least one who was selfish..

Let's think about it.. Wasn't Rahul selfish to leave Muskaan because they couldn't have kids... Wasn't Anjali selfish to not see Atuls love? Wasn't Naina selfish to leave Yuvi? Wasn't Tamanna ignorant to not see what affect she has on Sid (initially) and finally wasn't Riddhima selfish to have always seen her interest before Armaans? Whatever the reason, excluding Armaan (sorry to be biased 😛) couldn't they stop their 'true love' from leaving? The answer of course they tried, fought till their last breath but failed.. Despite the reason being the actor wantedto quit the show, the truth in the serial is that their love story ended before it could even start.

This is how their lovestorys were to end.. Just like Soni-Mahival, Heer-Ranjha, Laila-Majnu, Romeo-Juliet (anyone left) 🤣

This serial, can in fact be very educational if you see under the iceberg! For me it has taught me to live in moderation, not too selfless and neither selfish.. Don't live for others and neither live for yourself. Give someone so much love that when you're gonetheyll remember you, miss you and love you more.

I don't want to ignite any fights or be butchered in the process but whether anyone agrees with me or not but Riddhimas character has been brutally killed the day she got married. I'm not saying this because I'm an AR fan but as a third person, her character is somewhat like as if someone has ripped her soul out and is living lifelessly. She laughing because she's forced to, she's smiling because she has to. If she was given the choice, she'd either continue to live this way or literally physically lock herself in a room although she's mentally done so. Hats off to Sid for trying his best and trying to maintain that level to a certain degree!

BUT...

In all this where has Armaan gone? What about him? When will he be valued? Till when will he be sidelined? Why is it so? Do you think CVs have something good in store for him? Inspire of Shilpa coming in? Will he ever gain the love he's always craved for? Can anyone fill in the void in his life? Will he let anyone do so? Can/will it be replaced? Would he let anyone take over his heart? Do you think it'll be unfair?

All I can say is watch and see what is in store and thank CVs for entertaining us despite all!

Sorry for intentionally or unintentionally hurting anyone! No intention to!

Take care,
Sana

I love your post. Dill Mill Gaye is a show that is showing reality, thank GOD! The love they are showing is not bollywood style, the truth is that all true love stories have a Sad ending. I like the way they are showing reality how you have to listen to your parents and respect them, how trusting s important or else you loose a lot, and how you can love agian. And a big thing that is bearly shown love after marriage. Many people on this form are teenagers and we need to be shown this reality, how trust is important, love after marriage, and how to learn to love agian.
CV are doing a great job! I thank them for this.

Beautiful post :)
and welcome to the forum sana😛
im pretty new as well😆
i wonder the same thing. The best character in this show is always given the worst treatment. Armaan has a heart of gold yet he gives that heart away to Riddhima
Riddhima has Armaan's heart which any girl would die to have yet she takes it for granted. She twists, wounds, rips, and breaks something so precious countless times.
But the question still remains:
Will Armaan be able to give his heart to Shilpa?
Is he capable to do so?
Time will tell.

Due to such circumstances and sour twists in her life, she is only compelled to behave and react in such a way. In essence I don't even think she realizes that she is behaving in such a way! Nobody realizes except Armaan, who is helpless himself to say or do anything because unfortunately he's lost the right to even give her advice to which I don't think she would want to listen.

I agree with you! But I think trust can only be developed when someone gives you that importance in life. With such twists in life and circumstances changing and forcing you to do something against your will, it's difficult to 'believe' in trust again. You end up building an invisible wall around you so that you don't get hurt in life again. That's exactly what Riddhimas doing.

Thank you!
I don't think he will be able to give his heart to Shilpa wholeheartedly but will have to compromise in life to live.. As we all see he's a lifeless guy who is lost somewhere. The happy-go-lucky guy that we all once knew is lost somewhere! But only time will tell what's cooking in Dill Mill Gayye. The value of something is only known when you lose it. So let's see what's in store for us! 😊
