What happened to the 'Dosti'?

All of us keep on harpering about DMG being ruined NOW...or the usual complaining about DMG having had lost its essence after the first few months itself. And to an extent, I do agree. But something that the creatives were ALWAYS great at handling was the "Dosti". It is the one sole thing in DMG that has never made me complain and always managed to make me smile. Besides AR, it was the friendship factor that worked in DMG for the 1st Season. Be it the chemistry between the boys (Atul-Armaan-Rahul), or between the boys and Shubhankar, or between the girls (Muskaan-Anjali-Ridhima), or just between each other (Atul-Muskaan, Armaan-Atul, Anjali-Muskaan, Armaan-Rahul, Armaan-Muskaan, Armaan- Nikita). All of us loved each of these relationships...because they were absolutely hilarious and brilliant.

And one more thing that adds up to Season 2 not working is the absence of any "Dosti" at all. Leaving aside the fact that almost half the cast of Season 2 has already opted out because of the storyline, the only dosti that is shown is between JP and Jiggy, and Sid and Armaan. But both these friendships have absolutely failed to connect with most of us...I have no idea what relationship between JP and Jiggy should be called as they seem more like forced puppets who are included in scenes to aid one of the main characters...and about Sid and Armaan...they really cannot have true friendship due to the fact that both of them are in love with the same woman.

So is there any "Dosti" in DMG anymore? Yes, the romance is there but don't you miss the masti? Their are so many FF's written where members could make up a great story because we had this "AWESOME GANG" consisting of Armaan, Ridhima, Muskaan, Rahul, Anajli, Atul, Shubhankar and Keerti. And they fought, danced, played pranks, went to water parks, played basketball, cried on each other's shoulders...and did so much together. And now sadly, we have no friendship.

I will leave you with some memories to reminisce...and a question to ponder.

And one of my personal favourite scenes between Armaan and Atul...where Atul offers his friendship to Armaan again during the memory loss track...it's hilarious![//CENTER]

I miss the old days very much. now days its really filler episodes i see no point of this change its same old stuff it hurts our FF writers are much better than creatives but yes coming back to topic I miss Armaan, Ridhima, Rahul, Muskan, Atul, Anjali, Shubhakar, Kirti, Abhi & Niki's bond. nowdays its like unreal and blah sometimes SdiMaan scenes are fun to watch but anyays DMG is full of complain lists its better to cherish old memoires rather than watch same old romance stuff.

wow awesome memories, and v v v v v v well written,miss the DOSTI so much😔 well they might have done with rahul muskan and abhi niki track bt atul anji's story is still incomplete dun know y dun they bring them back, w will again watch same friendship, i remember only time when i had some feeling of dmg 1st season was when ridz returned and the way she.atul,abhi n niki bonded dat was our dmg which was only for 1,2 epis. dun bring other characterz bt atleast atul n anjie

OMG, the good old days.

Though there were individual couples like AR, AA, RM, SK, there was oneness,togetherness in them. No body left alone. The masti, emotional moments, facing troubles together, laughing togeher.

DMG lost its sense now.I'm not seeing that friendship anymore.😭

@bolded part: So true. It was like they did everything together. For example, even when AR were together...they had so many fun moments with all their friends. It was like the perfect life...a perfect boyfriend/girlfriend and great friends. How can Armaan and Ridhima not remember those days?...I'll tell you how - because the creatives think it's actually possible to forget your best friends.🤢

wow... ur post really made me miss the good old days of dmg... i remember there were episodes where i loved the gang more then AR... really miss them all, n their definitely is no friendship in dmg2 whatsoever...LOVED ur post!

Same here...sometimes I enjoyed their friendship more than AR😃...Armaan-Atul being my absolute favourite😳 I remember the time when they had their only serious fight...the make-up scene was brilliant.
