I am thinking if Divyam vs Vatsal decision by Jai was influenced by Zee to keep most of the states in the loop. Here is the hometown of all the contestants and there are many kids from Mumbai-Pune area.

Papiya - July 1997 - Calcutta
Divyam - Sep 1997 - JAipur
Vatsal - Jan 1998 - Mumbai
Manoj - Feb 1998 - Mumbai
Atul - Nov 1998 - Mani Majra (I think it is in Punjab)
Jeetu - Aug 1999- Northeast
Rutu - Sep 1999 - Pune
Khushboo - Feb 2000 - Mumbai
Vaishnavi - May 2000 - Pune
Avneet - Oct 2001 - Jalandhar

I am not trying to defend Jai or any one here but this is a thought that just crossed my mind while I was writing this information in another thread.

What do you guys think?

I think with a little bit of luck, and time...Jai will be a recognized choreographer and will be known for a long time....Of course...no one can predict the future....all you can do is recognize a talent.....and some times how you feel is really how it turns out. I remember many years back, sitting in a diner in New Jersey, putting money in the Jukebox to have a friend of mine listen to a Celine Dion's song.... much before she became so famous and world renowned....and insisting that my friend had to listen to this singer that I had liked so much.....Well Celine Dion did prove to the entire world how good she is....and went on to become a world recognized singer....I am not saying this happens everytime....but sometimes it does.....and it starts with fans who really believe in someone's talent.....some of us do believe in talent that Jai has.....It is not about anyone or anything else...but just that.....
