When Dutta said "Tum Azaad ho" I think he only meant that he won't be punishing Nakku anymore. He never said that the marriage was over or to leave the house. Why did Nakku start packing immediately?😔 Am I missing something?

But isnt he giving her choice that the next course of action will be hers to decide? Whether to continue to be his wife or to move on in life? That his decisions in the past month has only caused pain to people around him that includes Nakku too.Atleast that's what I understood from what he said.😕

No, he told her clearly to forget that fateful night that brought darkness in their lives and move on. He is asking her to go, implicitly. He said her one act of saving his family has blurred her "betrayal". And he wants her to forget everything and choose to live her life as per her wish.
Nakku had said that earlier, Sahib married her, she will live the way he wants. And she will leave only when he asks her to. But to Dutta the marriage was only a punishment, a prison. Punishment over, so marriage over.
And it is a test for Nakku. If she never wanted anything from him, she would leave. But if she wanted to continue to live with him, it would prove that she has a self interest. And that would strengthen the suspicion of her involvement in Supriya's elopement.
The most important point in all this is: Dutta says what is in my heart is on my lips.
He told her he is setting her free, and has indicated that he wants both to wipe the past clean and move on. So, Nakku now knows that Dutta does not want to have anything to do with her.
After all that happened, what is Nakku and her family's position in that house? Everyone hates them, they want them to go. The reason for staying on (Dutta's Punshiment) is now over.
What reason does Nakku have to live in that house? She is not overreacting, she is doing exactly as Dutta is expecting her to do.
We can hope that this is a ploy on Dutta's part to test Nakku's motives.

as NOFmoon said..he clearly asked her to forget the night they hot marries..this indicated that he no more wants to continue wuth all this...
there is a saying na..'taali ek haath se nahin bajti' so if dutta himself is not wanting to accept the marriage then wat will nakku do by staying there...she may consider herself married but not dutta..so i don't think she is overreacting..

moreover after soo much drama..and ppl hating nakku ..she cant even work as a servant..even i would have done this if i were in her place..

Duttaa seems to think, she did everything out of her own choice. Remember he said after he married her and dragged her to the room: untill today you did everything by your will "apni marzi se", "pyar kiya toh apni marzi se", "supriya ko bhaagne mein madad ki, toh apni marzi se". Ab tu dekh. Tune sirf meri acchayi dekhi, ab tu mera naya rup dekhe gi... ab tu saans legi meri marzi se, tu jiyegi meri marzi se, tu maregi meri marzi se...mubarak ho Nakku, jahannum..".
So, clearly there was no question of letting her do what she wants.
The marriage was a punishment, it meant nothing to him. The decision to marry her was his, so he is saying he is setting her free. He is not giving her the choice of continuing to be his wife, he is telling her to move on in life.
If Nakku had not been accused of involvement in Sups elopment, their marriage would never have happened. Dutta would continue to brood for many more years. Like Kala said, aurat zaat se nafrat hojayegi and he would never as much look at another woman, the rest of his life.
Nakku would never have let him know that she loves him, no dramatic situations in the story.
