Disregarding the actual performance, I think that amongst some particularly bad song choices was Shashi's Om Shanti Om. That is not a stage song, especially not if you don't do a good job. And the rest are already mentioned above.

Some of the best choices were Sreeram's Khwaja Mere Khwaja, Rakesh's Chappa Chappa, Shivam's Parda Hai Parda, and Shashi's Sajda. These songs brought these contestants to the top.

Naushad has always picked songs to his advantage, but he has not delivered in most of his performances. I only enjoyed his Aaya Tere Dar Pe performance, and I absolutely love that qawwali, so I am biased. His song choices are always in his favor and that is the worst part when he fails to deliver. Similarly, Bhoomi has played on her strengths and her comfort zone throughout the season. Tia and Swaroop have made some bad choices by picking songs they cannot live up to.
