As far as I know Sushi can have cooked components. I have seen sushi with tofu tempura. The smoking makes the skin of the eel very crispy and tasty. I was apprehensive at first because eel is so slippery, creepy and ugly - but a friend got it for me - so I ate it and liked it.
Actually steak tar-tare and carpacios are the laziest ever. At least with fish they waste time boning, cleaning etc. 😆
Looked up both of them. The steak tartare looks fine as it's marinated and all. Carpaccio I don't know if I'll be able to taste. 😆
