Now I am really mad on these reality TVs looking for singing talents. SRGMP was having potential to give only one singer which was Nihira Joshi and somewhat Hema (If he improves diction. On a scale of 1 to 10 for dicton Hema stands 1..5, 10 being the best) but look what we got...Vinit and Himani and Debu and all...The big problem to me is as Lata and Asha are still going good in music industry the comparison is bound to happen. Everyone praised Jiya Dhadak by Himani but for me she completely missed the soul and expression of Jiya Dhadak which Rahat F A K sang. Still we admire it. Is the time has come that we should feel satisfied if we see 0.000001% of singing talent as compared to Lata or Asha or Kishore or Rafisab? If Vinit thinks attitude is all about singing does he has the ability to render the song like "Chingari koi bhadke" like Kishoreda or "Madhuban mein radhika nache re" like Rafisab? The problem here is mentors (who are nowhere near RD, SD or my favourite Salilda) who gave unnecessary hype just because they taught them...Can Himani sing like Lataji sang "Ishwar ya allah ye pukar sun le re (Form film Pukar staring madhuri and Anil Kapoor" ?
About II the story is even worse which i don't want to comment also. And for all this Zee and Sony are responsible who are giving unnecessary extra hype to the contestants who are good and learning to be good singers. But now by asking them to show their presence in almost every program the contestants are getting a feel of complete singers which close the avenues of music learning and becoming a good singer.
