This is the story of Swara a
beautiful girl who lives in kolahpur , with her father and mother . Swara is
not only beautiful outside but she is beautiful outside too. She is a lavni (a folk dance form of Maharashtra) dancer,
She is not a lavni dancer by choice but by chance because her mother once has taken the money for a lavni show but could not dance that day for illness, so Swara had to dance. But her mother does not want her daughter to live her whole life as Lavni Dancer.The sahukar of Kolahapur wants to sleep with Swara and he has wrong intension for swara. Her father arranges her marriage with Mahesh who is not a good human being, but for her father Swara agrees to marry him. But he is arrested for doing antisocial works. On the other hand in the Anna sahib is a politian , who has a big family and a beautiful wife Nandini , The elder son of the family Aditya is unmarried where as his younger brother is married. Aditya is an educated, good looking, honest and hardworking man .He is like the perfect man for a girl. His mother is very worried about his marriage. Oneday in a temple his mother sees swara and her good nature. Nandini arranges Swara and Aditya's marriage. In the family of Anna sahib the second daughter in law Ragini is not happy about being the second daughter in law, and Swara becoming the elder bahu and all powers are going to her. She decides to break the marriage and make Swara's life hell. Swara and Aditya get engaged. The old priest decides their marriage dates. both families goes for visiting the family god's temple. But due to the problem of the bus they had to spent the night in a local village where a snake was sitting on the chest of Aditya . Where everyone gets shocked but Swara tells "snake mantra" to remove the snake. The snake leaves the place, and then the head priest of the family comes and tells everyone that Swara is the life line of Aditya. Then everyone becomes very happy for swara becoming the wife of Aditya. Hearing that Swara is going to a big family as the daughter in law, Sahukar and Mahesh made a place. As for his daughter marriage Swara's father had taken money and signed a paper to sahukar . So Sahukar sends some goons to Swara's family and tells them to return the money or ask the money to Aditya's family, then they takes the jewelry from Swara which were given from Aditya's family for marriage. Aditya gets to know everything so he decides to give the money to Sahukar by sending different person so Swara does not get to know everything, then Aditya comes to his place and slaps him and takes the jewelry returns the jewelery to Swara. Then Sahukar orders Mahesh to make her life hell. So on the day of Srimanth Puja when swara was alone in the house Mahesh tries to rape her , but actually he was just faking it but was trying to prove Swara characterless. Ragini comes and thinks wrong about Swara. Then Swara gets the chance to prove the truth then she tells everyone about the fact that Mahesh and she was to get married , so he comes back from Jail to break Swara's marriage. She proves herself innocent and her marriage preparation continues on the day of her mehendi Mahesh comes and mixes something the Mehedi mixture. In a conversation Swara tells Aditya that from her childhood she has this dream to wear "Chanpa" flower in marriage. In the meantime the color of mehendi does not come in her hand. Aditya goes for bringing Chanpa flower for Swara in motor bike, where Mahesh follows him. An Accident takes place where many family members have gone to visit the place. Where everyone gets to know that a man in Motor-bike has been spot dead.
