Samrat & Gunjan's RNBDJ One Year Anniversary

This was the day when the loveliest, sweetest friendship broke. It was the day all of us were so sad, so upset.... This was the first time I actually cried watching a TV show........ Still can't forget the conversation Samrat Gunjan had before the sequence......

I felt that the RNBDJ sequence was the perfect time for Samrat to realise his love for Gunjan, because it was perfect in every way..... Samrat, who was for the first time, not sure about what he was doing, expressed his fear of losing his best friend, without whom life would not only become incomplete but unimaginable.... I felt that the realisation would have been perfect because clearly, between love and friendship, Samrat was being pulled towards friendship, he didn't see breaking his relationship with Gunjan as an option.... He told her that for the first time, he was under-confident of himself.... The first time Gunjan had asked him for something and he couldn't give it.... But she seemed determined about her decision.....

Gunjan on the other hand, wanted Samrat to stay happy at all costs, even if it meant staying away from him for the rest of her life.... She didn't want her to come in between Samrat and Sheena, a girl with whom Samrat seemed really happy.... She proved her friendship by being ready to even sacrifice it for the happiness of her friend, her soulmate.....

The RNBDJ sequence, I would say is one of the best edited sequences of the show.... The flashbacks had me in tears.... Everything, from the moment they met, to the Khuda Jaane time, to the snow globe scenes, the bet, everything was perfect.... Everywhere Samrat imagined Gunjan... He was waiting for just one signal from Gunjan, and held out his hand for her....Yet she never held it... The rose falling was the most crushing moment and through that, Gunjan gave her message to Samrat- it was all over.... The flashbacks, gave every one of us jitters and goosebumps.... For me, it was the saddest episode......

awwww awsomeee post Jizzzy!!!!! It has been one long year now....😳....it passed in one blink!!!! GOSHHH it was so heartbreaking and depressing for us na!!!! chaddi aunty na dhamaal macha di thi🤣🤣🤣...........and when Gunjan dropped sammy's Rose....awwwww😭....it was so much painful!!! but true friendship can never die!!!! and FInally they r now more than friends!!!!.....trueee lovers...my januables😍

But you are right Choco. True friendship can never die. But this was one of the most heartbreaking scene. Not only because of their friendship but because Gunjan sacrificed her love so that he could be with his love (chaddi aunty) Though it hurt her to see him with someone else and like someone besides her, she let him go.

@Bold: OMG when she dropped the rose, it broke my heart. Not only was that something she treasures but that was everything Samrat and she shared. It was a symbol of their journey together, from strangers to soulmates. And when she dropped it, it was like everything was shattered. Everything they shared was gone. Samrat's eyes were pinned with pain, not only because she dropped his rose, but because he doesn't know exactly why.

OMG time flies! Its been one year since the RNBDJ seq, that had left many of us SGians heartbroken especially when G dropped Sam's rose =(.. but that bit had brought a huge smile on our faces when Sam imagined Gunjan dancing with him instead of Sheena.. that showed that he had no feelings for chaddi aunty!🤣 and he didnt even care when Sheena hugged him in the end cuz he was depressed cuz of G😆

But as parzie mentioned in her post , true friendship never dies, no1 can EVER seperate SG!! they are soulmates!! they belong together <3

and you know what is ironic hun ? last year around at this time too they had to split as they have to now

i of course love the RNDDJ moments but the one which really brought Goosebumps to me are these

I edited the Fanaa Moments on SaJan - from the Mere Haath Main Song ... i love that song simply cause i think the lines spoken by Kajol & Aamir make it come alive with such an intensity that it sizzles and Sam Gunjan having had them make em more special to me now 😳 Those lines are the life & soul of the song ❤️

Thanks for the post. It was the time when sammy had to choose between love and friendship and Gunjan sacrifieced her love for sammy.
