I agree with you, Guddoo. Riddhima has done what any woman in this world will do who has moved on and has found love again. Yes, it is possible for you to love again - it is possible to weave dreams again - we are only human and people do find life and love again. It is no big deal, really.

And if this is branded as 'butchering of character'- SO BE IT.

Anyway nice post! I completely agree with you that ridhimma has no way been butchered. In fact from the beginning she had the most difficult choice out of the 3 but in the end she made the right decision for the right reasons- she decided to spend her life with her husband who she has fallen in love with.

I love ridhimma- sure sometimes I have got exasperated by her but I stil love her dearly!!

And of course SR together are just wonderful!!😳

Nothing is Butchered.

But really now time has come that some section of fans need to butchered their hopeless & insensitive mentality.

Riddhima has moved on with his hubby.That's the fact.

If anyone does'nt like it ,then don't watch.Do your family is putting compulsion on you to watch DMG?

When KSG can move on with Nicole in his real life after divocing Shraddha,then why can't Riddhima in her reel life move on with Sid?😕😲😕

Don't get Partial.Keep an Unbiased approach.Try to measure everyone with the same scale.

aise baathe kahi nahi jaati dear ... agar usko pata tha keh uska pyaar sacha tha then i think every normal person wud wait atleast 1 or 2 years .. but not 6 months -,-'' and the biggest thing is what they showed during tha lonavla scene and the questions which armaan asked her, i mean uske baath its obvious that she still has feelings for armaan so i think she shud have divorced sid after that instead of playin wif 2 people's feelings... although its just a serial so i dont think anythin in it must reflect real life :P as dmg has never reflected real life ... 😉

I always thought Riddhima's character was butchered because of the way CV's made her behave when Armaan came back (though it was because CV's wanted to drag the story). She kept running around crying, not talking to Sid or Armaan.

That was not the Riddhima we knew. She was emotional, but still very strong at the same time. That's why I loved SA's portrayal of Riddhima, because she really showed these shades of Riddhima. But then the CV's completely ruined Riddhima's character by just making her cry ALL the time.

She didn't have to be harsh to Armaan or Sid, infact she could have spoken to Armaan in a civilised manner and explained the situation. He would have left himself. Then she could have continued her life with Sid happily.

I never thought or said that Riddhima was butchered because she chose Sid over Armaan, but just the way she behaved ruined her character for me.

You know, I was just flipping through a thread, and it said that Riddhima does not deserve to have fans!! I was like, What the .....

If it was me, or anyone here, they would have done the same thing. She chose her present over her past. She decided to improve her future instead of repeating her past. She chose her husband over her ex-flame. So totally right. Whats butchered in that?

People said she is ruined. She forgot her love so easily and never even thought about that. I dont think that is butchering because for me, Riddhima never loved Armaan. In AR, she was the immature princess who needed everything she wanted. Armaan was the true lover. He went to the ends of the earth to get the things she needed. But she was never satisified. Those silly fights and misunderstandings were MOSTLY ( Mostly, not all the time ) Riddhima's fault. She used to be a im-the-best-and-always-right kind of girl. Sid came and changed her. And a relationship always works when the person can bring out the best in you. And Sid brought out the best in Ridzi. He loved her, she loved him too. She never loved Armaan, she wanted him. But you can always get confused between mere infactuation and love!! And I dont exactly blame her. Infact I appreciate the CVs, I really do, how they showed a love story in which she faked infactuation as love, and then she moved on realizing what love really means, and then he also moved on to find a person who really loves him, loves, not infactuates!!

she is now happy wid her husband n she has moved on n she made it clear 2 armaan also.. they had a proper ending..

n ya i agree wid dat rajneeti part also.. it is reality!

Great great post with valid reasons Guddi!! I have been thinking the same where and how exactly Riddhima, the character got butchered since I've been seeing countless post regarding her character being "butchered"......but I think, I got the answer. Thanks!!

what amaze me the most in this forum, and not only here but whole IF,,, most of the members are females, zats for sure,,, and what character do we see the members bash the most????? million dollar question........... think think............;; the female leads!!!!!!!!!!!🤣 surprising naaaa??

is it coz its fictional they feel they can overlook the fact that they are actually perpetuating one of worlds oldest and arquaic misconception, that men are always right and its always the woman's fault!!!!!!!!! or should i say women fault is they were born woman!!!!!
