The only sensisble person in the Sax house is Nainaji. 95% of the time she makes sense. the rest of the time she is either silent or supportive of her hubby (who is wrong in most instances).
Prof has mostly been wrong (except when he rejected SS and Krishna's marriage proposal - there he was 110% right and I was cheering for him all the way until she went and said yes). Even when he makes a reasonable statement it is grounded by faulty logic (i.e.
- take care of krishna he says to Pratigya - not because krishna takes care of us and got wounded protecting one of us but because he is a lost cause and we need to be noble as Saxs;
- I will never let my daugher go back - unless SS comes - that is very stupid because the inlaws are the enemy not the hubby and the inlaws have it in for her when she goes back
- good thing she went with her hubby he says to family - so its fine when goes at gunpoint but ABSOLUTELY NOT FINE when she goes at her husband's public apology and public request. the violent act was more in line with his idea of a husband's right
I can go on and on.

Did he think it would magically be more effective in eliminating Angad and succeed where krishna's brutal beating over the same issue did not

forget that Angad reared his ugly head
again on the same evil plan after being nearly beaten to death by Krishna
Actually i was very glad at Nainaji's and Dadi'ji comments after the slap today.
Re the Kriya marriage tracxk - I remember that track very clearly. Krishna had kind of cooled down on the chase fully expecting her to come to him. Angad was stirring trouble. even after the kidnap she was not so desperate that she would marry krishna. It was Arushi. She had a terror attack after the kidnapping and had nightmares and stuff and kept crying that she did not want it to happen to her and it is in protective older sister mode that PRATIGYA SAID YES.
her reason for saying yes was Arushi's uncontrollable fear. Take a look back at the old epis. even krishna was surprised at her change of heart. he was sitting at the adda when Adarsh came to take him on and stab him right that is when she agreed to marry him right. he never hung outsider her house after SS proposal was rejected. he went back to the adda. As long as Nitin was out of the picture he reduced the pressure. I still don't support his stalking and onsession. Infact, at that time I 100% supported Pratigya for her resistance and fear but the fact was that it was Arushi's fear that was the catalyst. If Arushi had not been there she would have probably not agreed so hastily.
