THE INDIAN Idol 2 stage resembled a wedding mandap what with the five finalists looking stunning in their wedding ensembles. The stage was set with red, white and pink flowers, as red and pink ribbons floated everywhere on the stage.
The top five gave their best, singing, 'Sapne mein milti hai woh kudi meri sapne mein milti hai'. It was the wedding songs special on the Idol sets. The judges were music com posers Saleem-Suleimaan, of films like Neal n Nikki, Kaal, Aitraaz. The duo was thrilled by the Idol experience and made it quite evident that the top five are certainly to be heard singing their tunes soon! "I had heard a lot about the show and the contestants and so I had really wanted to visit this stage and the performers who rock the stage to experience it myself !" said Saleem.
"Being the only girl left in the race now, I quite fear a vote out... but the guest judges have given us the hope that our music career might just not end with this stage. This exposure helps us a lot in establishing our name in the industry even if we don't win the title!" said Antara.
Karunya's performance as usual was praised. "This time Karunya had raised the bar to such a level that we were expecting the same level or more from the others," said Anu Malik. All five judges couldn't help compare him with the others and praise his performance.https://epaper.hindustantimes.com/
