Mah Loveeee affair ..was it destined ?!

God! Love is such a crazy thing .. Hmm isnt it so ??!

love was was beautiful wen I saw it thru their eyes… n there then I mahself fell in love…

It was addictive.. Im sure all those who fell in love agree wth me.. U always wanna see dem… talk abt them 2 evry1 u meet.. Talk abt the person whom u love… dream abt them.. Dreaming of future… Ahhh… life is bliss then… isnt it ????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm… I knw wat u guys r thnkn… dat I hv gone crazyy !! Hahah… well isnt it a knwn fact by nw ??!! :d.. Hehe.. Okies seriously … im sure atleast few ppl got wat I was sayn…. They r one pair who made me crazily fall in luv wth them.. Spend hrs n hrs chatting on this very forum .. Going gaga abt evrythng Prithvi n Damini… late nites had dfrnt meaning then ! :D yes till 3 am at nites .. Still prida was the nly thng on our minds.. Or shal I say even aftr dat.. Yes dreams were filled wth them too.. Of hw they wil cnfess.. Who wil cnfess 2 whom 1st ? Wil he say the truth or not ! N d most debated… will he stop being such a jerk or not !!!! Heheheh.. N ofcoz the.." why does she 4gv him so easily evrytym ~!" thngie ! :D … lyf sure used 2 b dfrnt then… Pridaholics thread used 2 b gobbled up in jus a few days.. Smtyms even 3 .. Mostly by d weekends… Buggn d Mods 2 make new thread evry nw n then… OMG hw impatient were v 2 discuss mre prida.. Evry unspoken word of theirs analysed.. Evry small movement scrutinized.. Every hidden meaning deciphered… " hmms n darasaals" were the current hwat words then…

Simply said sm of the gud ol' tyms of mah life n love affair wth prida.. N guess most of urs too…

Tyms I wud nevr 4gt… tyms dat wud b referred 2 as NOSTALGIA……..dats "love ne milla di jodi "4 me n dats d perfect Prida 4 me…

Since most of the slicing and dicing has been done....I will not try to add anything new (knowing full well I will fail miserably).

So I will humbly try and recapture some of their interesting and funny characteristics which may have been mostly appraised before but continues to appeal to us.

All of the above is basically a round about way of saying that most of the below is written in jest and should be read in the non judgmental spirit this forum in famous for.😃

I begin with one of my favourite characters in the show Ela Gujral.

Ela Gujral : An amazing mother ' loving, tender, trusting but a disciplinarian when required. She managed her business & home perfectly (well ...nearly as long as we ignore the bankruptcy). Always atuned to her daughters' needs, being a friend to them, her actions driven for their well being.

So what was quirky about her (barring the bun that has been knot over & over)?

She encouraged Avni to liaise with Jai who was not Jai but Sameer...a son-in-law with a false identity, who nearly pushed her middle born to the gallows of death.

Her last 'to-be-Damad' Varun was the only sane one and she had stopped Roshni from seeing him initially. By the time, she placed Roshni's hand in his (literally), he had lost some his previous sanity and was out to destroy her business.

For woman who was sharp and charismatic, her choice of damads did make you go "Huh???!"😛

Roshni Gujral : The sunshine of the show ' young, jubilant, bubbly, a prankster full of energy ' few have been able to resist a smile when she was onscreen.

She has this amazing ability to talk to her self aloud giving us insights to her crazy adorable self. Ofcourse, this made us like her even more. She endeared herself not despite her childishness but because of her childlike view of the world.

Varun Saxena : The youngest of the "you Saxena brothers", was the definitely the wisest. Kabhi subtly robotic, kabhi spooky, but unfailingly decent.

Being blessed with more insight than his elder brothers, he did try to find sense in their plans initially but worshipped his brothers too much and soon gave up that mission.

One thing that impressed me about this boy was his patience ' his patience on being called 'Chote' (with token resistence), with his brothers' convoluted 'going-nowhere' plans and ofcourse with his lady love, Roshni.

Later in the show, Varun exhibits an unique hearing ability (or the lack of it) when he fails to hear devious plans being hatched while being well within human hearing range.

The same Varun was able to hear Tunna's footsteps yards away and hide himself later. The boy certainly had a wide range of auditory sensors I would say.

Avni Gujral : Was all about home, plants, paints and LOOOOVEEE. The simple, shy and gentle middle Gujral reminds me of a shy Cinderella before fairy godmother stepped in. And she was waiting patiently for her fairytale to enfold often considering herself lesser than her vivacious younger sister or spirited elder one. She was the thread that bond the family together always keeping an eye on everybody needs.

Beautiful sensitive and caring Avni who Sam thinks will be a doormat turns out to be more controlling than he bargained for and wears the pants in the family. Not only Sam, she made his cool & composed elder brother fall in line with her iron hand. 👏

Sameer Saxena : Handsome flirty charmer with a unique way around girls and great comic timing is the first impression you get. He has the gift of the gab & can talk himself out of any situation. We go onto see how he thinks more with his heart and then his head.

He was also the "Love Guru" of Love Ne. He has given tips on love to almost everybody on the show ' Varun, Roshni, Prithvi. Infact, he was such a great teacher that later his student Varun dishes out similar lessons to Vivaan (who obviously got scared of those tips and ran away). His unique tips on ladki pataoing could give SRK's "Chai Din Ladki In" a run for it's money. Ofcourse, this has led to him to getting physically assaulted by his elder brother a few times ( Prithvi practiced backend on the poor fellow) but that did not deter our inhouse 'Love expert'. He continued to give conflicting lessons to Varun & Roshni and turned out to be a great PriDaholic himself (giving a few Pridaholics a run for their money too). He practiced his skills as a professor of Love on PriDa, much to our delight ' right from getting Prithvi alchemized to Damini being referred as "bhabhi' to fake birthday parties and 'kya jodi hai!'

Ofcourse his 'Ladki ghumao, chakkar chalao' project ultimately spins a web on its own and gets trapped himself with a controlling angel for a wife much to our happiness.

Damini Gujral : A perfect daughter & older sister extraordinaire, she was also a hardnosed businesswoman but innocent as far as relationships go. Here was an amazing spitfire with marshmallow heart for her loved ones. She led her life based on principles and had a strength that earned her admiration from most.

She was a woman full of surprises ' she spoke her mind and never failed to stand up for what she believed in. A strong personality who could take care of family in the face of all adversities with the heart of girl who just wanted to be taken care of.

So we got mesmerizing, beautiful & extraordinary woman of today who could take care of herself and her family single handedly but lost all control around a jealous horse, a very hot dude and ofourse hay!😉!!

Prithvi Saxena : The eldest of the Saxena brother has been raved about incessantly on this forum. Each and every stance, gesture, word & plan has been dissected and been praised or ranted against.

Well, Dude was obsessed with a lot of things...first thing ' his family. His Father, mother, brothers and later his Mausi and her unspeakable kins. But that's ok....many people are.

Then how do we justify his obsession with his Maksad, his Plans (uhhh??!!!!) and his "Hiiii Hogas.

Ofcourse the good part of this was that he was also obsessed with Damini's hair, Damini's earrings and Damini herself. And just for that.....I love him. What can I do I am obsessed with PriDa. Leading to a compulsive behavior of rewatching their scenes and praying twice a day for that magic to reappear.

Happy anniversary people....
