Exactly, well I haven't heard anything classical from Sreeram, and I guess I can blame the song choices for this again lol....but he is definitely a fantastic singer, that's why I said, him and Shashi are the top 2 for me currently.

I also felt that Vishwas got eliminated way too early in the competition, he still had so many qualities to show, and according to his first performance (Jalwa), he was also one of my favourites in the initial stages.

Well it makes a lot difference if singers have a strong classical base. Take Shreya for example.

I agree, they tend to take singing to another level, like Shankar Mahadevan as well

Ya. But that doesn't mean others can't be good. We have many good examples of that.

When I first those two videos posted by you, I was noticing the expressions on Aadesh Srivastava's face. He is one music composer who stresses on singers having a good foundation in classical. I didn't follow that SRGMP at all. Seeing those videos I knew Shashi will be in Jai Ho gharana. And when I saw Saanwre it turned out to be true. 😊

Yup others can also be good, one good example is KK. And yes its evident Aadesh Srivastav respects singers with a strong classical base more, he even gave Shashi an opportunity to provide background vocals in Mora Piya from Rajneeti....but i wish that Shashi would have sang the song by himself, as he would have done a far better job than Aadesh Srivastav =P

I agree Shashi is a gr8 singer i've loved his jaane tu and o meri jaan and these performances in saregamapa are really amazing as well i think he has a gud chance of going till the top 4

shashi is number one among all other participants in indian idol 5 and an experienced player. My all good wishes are with shashi.
