Such a romantic track! lovely lyrics!

The cute voice of Sadhna ji greets beautifully in the start. I felt a strain in the voice in the lower notes, they could have been given more proper finishing touches with a nice throw. Expressions are nice, I love the way she conveyed the line "Kal Jo Mujhko Neend Naa Aye, Paas Bula Le Lena, Godd Main Apni Sar Rakh Lena, Lori Suna Dena.." The variations she introduced in the song are subtle, but some of them are not bang on target in terms of throw and volume. The competition is going tougher, so have to be strict and consider minute details as well. Overall, a good romantic feel and a lovely dreamy voice.

I would like to give an 8 out of 10 to this performance.

Another great song selection for her. I guess that's one advantage to coming in late, you can go straight to your best songs.

This song is more difficult than it looks. Great expression and feeling first of all used by Sadhna Sargam throughout. The main sequence was sang with great voice quality and feel. Also,

Raat bhi na hile aadhi aadhi yeh
Raat bhi na hile aadhi aadhi yeh

there was not much room for breaths during this sequence, yet it was still sang great.

Also, as she continues singing, the prolongation of some words and notes is also quite impressive, she displays great control and ability in those times.

For example,

Tujh bina pagli yeh purvai

Great job there in the word purvai. And there are way more times where she stretches the word and shows great talent. Just great.




Overall, great voice quality, great ability, great control, great expression, overall great performance. The pace of the song is the only thing that doesn't make it as difficult, as it was a very comfortable pace. So I can't make this a perfect.

Agree with ssk that this song is not as simple to sing as it sounds! Its quite difficult to get it right with all the harkats and variations she puts in.

Sorry I know this round could end anytime soon so I have to get thru my comments quickly.

The singing is flawless. But it's not difficult enough to gain a 9 or 10. It has a few very impressive shows of virtuosity. However at this stage of the competition I have to be even more kanjoos.

As for romantic feel, I think the expressions are very good. But they're not direct. When Shreya or Alka sing, their emotions are directed towards the audience. I, as the audience, feel like they're talking to me. That level of involvement is required to gain an extra 1 mark in the romance round. And this time, I'll give that to only one or two singers. Sadhanaji is not one of them, unfortunately.
