The Big ‘B’ returns

Harish Dayani, C.E.O. of Sa Re Ga Ma said that the big 'B' would recover completely from his bad health during this six months' time. He added that he and co-producer K.S. Rama Rao bought the remakes rights keeping Amitabh in mind. Luckily, the actor also liked the story of the film and agreed to act in it.

Amitabh Bachchan will play the role of a psychiatrist who comes from New York to treat the heroine of the film. Dayani revealed that they have decided to retain the script of the original film in Malayalam, which was directed by Fazil. He however added that suitable changes would be made to cater to the taste of Bollywood audience. Now, they are planning to cast two big names for the lead pair.

Telugu filmmaker V Naren Aditya is going to direct this remake film. Its entire shooting will be done in New York and Rajasthan.
