Maahi is her own enemy

though I visit this forum often, I dont post here a lot (I know bad me). But after watching the re-run of the last episode I had to speak up.

Maahi's entire family and her best friends are out to made this the day of her life. Perfect Mehndi, perfect wedding,perfect clothes. And maahi is thinking about going out and eating golgappas and stuff? Doesnt her wedding matter to her? Besides wondering whether the grass is really greener on the other side. I like Shiv a lot, but because of her indecisiveness I think he is better of without her. What if she marries him? Will Maahi keep thinking....what if I had married Ishaan? Dont get married if you are not sure!!!!😡 Keep in mind that her parents are spending a small fortune in her wedding. If she runs away to Shiv, wont it harm her parents?

And the dreamsequenses. Why should Ishaan be a loser if and when she marries Shiv? Did she contribute in his succes in anyway? He is a succesful man now....does she have anything to do with it? No, absolutely nothing! No matter why he is marrying her, if he really is sincere, I think he is a winner all the way. he realized that he wanted Maahi in his life and did everything he could to win her back. If he isnt sincere...well then he is a horrible person, but he is a succesful man in his own field.

In both her dreams Roshni, her best friend since years, the one who stood by her in all her problems and issues, is unhappy with her life and her marriage, while Maahi is gloating. Is this the kind of person Maahi is? Happy when her best friend is miserable and congratulating herself?😕

Why did the writers write this? How can they think of such a person as a role-model for women? Because wasnt that the intent of the show? Showing something different? Showing someone who doenst fit the standards of beauty, but is succesful and beautiful in her own right? I am sorry, but right now I feel that Maahi is an ugly person. And that has nothing to do with her looks and her size. But with her martyr additude!

What are the creatives thinking?

I am sorry if i said anything wrong, this is just my personal opinion, but I had to voice it otherwise I would loose my mind. Kya karen, no one wants to listen to me at home😭 😆

I agree 100% with you. Mahi spends too much time thinking that things are better on the other side. Ishan repented and has more than made up for his mistakes, besides the fact that he loves her. She is a mess and if the writers have her run off with Shiv then they are cowards just like Mahi. And you're right about the dream sequence. Why was Ishaan a loser and life so perfect with Shiv? Why was Roshni's life so miserable? Anyway, Mahi is going to always be looking for something...else. I hope she loses Ishan and Shiv. She's the dog with the bone. Poor doggie sees his own reflection, thinks that dog has a bigger bone and drops his. He ends up with nothing and Mahi might end up being like that poor dog after Friday's show. Lets see.
