The objective of the activity was to find the best saas-bahu jodi on ground. Thus, Collective Heads conducted society contact programs in societies and shortlisted one saas-bahu jodi from each society through a series of interesting and interactive sessions. The serial Sasural Genda Phool is said to have high TRP in Indore and thus, the city was chosen for the activity.
Commenting on the activity, Suchitha Pillai, Manager Client Servicing, Collective Heads, said, "We have been managing many activations for the Star Group in the past three years. Thus, in order to manage and execute this activity, Star approached us. In each of the societies, we saw over 70 per cent of the households take part in the program. We set up a stage in each society and conducted games for mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law together. The games were based on compatibility, competition and trivia about the serial Sasural Genda Phool."
The eight finalists chosen in the societies competed against each other at Treasure Island mall in Indore on June 8, amongst whom one winning couple went on to win the tag of the best saas-bahu jodi winner. They were felicitated and congratulated by the on-screen actors of the serial, Suhana and Shaileja.
