SPA 2010 verdict

The much awaited Star Parivaar Awards 2010 finaaly got aired yesterday. How was the entire programme??Lets find out....

I was upset that ragini didnt win an award, she deserves atleast one award😭

I'm in the middle of watching it as of right now....but the beginning two awards that SGP won....for Dadaji and Badi Maa......veryyyyyyy sweet moments! The warmth b/w the entire cast is so obvious....especially the way Supriya ji hugged Dadaji when he won the award and the way Bhairavi hugged Supriya ji when she won her award.....it was so sweet seriously.....and I just loved Supriya ji's speech when she won her award....how she specially took Mitali Bhattacharya onstage and credited her as the entire thought process behind SGP.....she looked emotional too....and I'm wondering now if Mr. Ravi Ojha is quite seriously ill cuz Supriya ji mentioned how he needs everyone's duas right now.....hope he does get well soon.

I agree with each nd every word of yours 😉 SPA was a huge disappointment 👎🏼 .... But we all knew wat happened last year so we shouldnt have expected much from SP 😈

Nyways u guys noticed JaiRa came together 😍

Performance: Ufff I dont even want to talk about them.... I sooo want to kill the coregraphers.... 😡
Btw Sushaan clothes were much better than wat they appeared to be in the promos lolz 😆

Hosting: 👎🏼.... Miss nd Blink appearances by the actors.... 😆
I luved Ragini nd Karan part....lub laba lub 🤣
Lolz I was eagerly w8ing for gattu bhai's turn....but again as u said he came nd went kuch pata hi nhi chala 😆


Awards: Well heartful congratulations to Supriya g,dada g nd Jay for winning awards....They truely deserved them 👍🏼

Btw ny idea wat has happend to Ravi sir... Supriya g said he needs prayers nd all 😲
Nd for remaining set of awards no comments 😆....Most of the awards went to undeserving ppl 🤪

Editing: SP deserves a gr8 round of applause for this 👏 It was 10000000 times better than the previous year...lolz atleast the ppl who were receiving awards were not shown siting in the audiences simaltaneously 🤣

Hyeeee no doubt the bestest moment was Jai aka Ishaan ki shayri.... Neither Ragini nor did any one of us were expecting this from Jay....
Man I just luved it 😍


So all in all SPA was preety bore lolz....nd disappointing too 😆

Ok phew finally finished watching it.....LOL....even after forwarding through so much of it....have to say one of the most boring things I've ever watched....man if not for SGP, I wouldn't even bother with this snoozefest....lol

Ok, the performances.....one word....PATHETIC....choreography-wise and then most of the ppl couldn't dance either....Ragini is a fab dancer and they put her in that weird fluorescent nonsense and HARDLY gave any scope to her or Jai....oh well....I knew it was going to be weird from the promos only....lol.....and I shouldn't even say anything about the rest of the pairs....not worth it....lol

I was waiting to see this shayari thing that Ishaan did that everyone's been talking about and it really was sooooo sweet......yeah he recited kinda cheesy lines but he said them in such a sweet, genuine manner....cute moment indeed! And loved Ragini's laughter in response....lol.....definitely the sweetest Ishaan-Suhana moment of the show.....

And the ending bit with the SGP song was cute....and even Dadaji-Dadiji dancing to 'dil toh baccha hai ji' awwwwww....they are so adorable together.....lol

Anyways, overall I've watched the Zee Rishtey Awards earlier in the year and those were better than this.....they gave literally every person some award or the other and they had more of that whole 'parivar' feel to them which SPA never manages to despite the 'parivaar' in the title...how ironic....haha....and yeah the dance performances in the ZRA's were much better too....they have Manav-Archana after all....lol

This year SPA was so sos so BAD.....like they had a huge editing problem....they went on cutting every performance n scene...They have cut the whole sania-shohaib-maha apa act by Krisha-Sudesh-Bharti.....they didnt show it at all...The jokes were slapstick(The3 only host which I found interesting as a "common viewer" was Ragini,Supriya ji n Naitik.....They really hosted well....The performances were urghhhh🤢🤢they showed just 20 sec performance of every jodi....why???But was very happy that Ragz-Jai were shown many times by the camera....For me d best part was Ishjaan's shayari nthe finale act...nothin else...they didnt show jai in malaika's performance also......I was so excited coz the sets n presentation really looked grand....but the award program was really a huge disappointment(I am not telling because SGP won less awards...I am telling as a viewer only).....and the nomiantions looed wierd...One lady was nominated as best khalnayika as well as best saas????howz dat possible????😕😕😕

For me....SPA broved to be a huge disapppointment...Chya...I cud have gone out on a sunday rather than waiting n siting thru d whole show......😭😭I wanna say that till the yeh rishta-bidaai shows came...star parivaar was very good...now it has just become...btw good analysis Shweta...👏

@amotymileo: Yep, ZRAs were soooooo much better...I find Zee to be a much better channel overall too....they did a better job of presenting this whole 'parivar' of shows thing with their awards show.....SPA needs to go back to the drawing board....their shows are becoming lamer each year....*yawns*.....all glitz on the surface but no real substance.


@Shounak: I totally agree with what you pointed out about Bidaai and YRKKH and how SPA has changed since they entered.
