Ok this is a big doubt on my mind lingering ever since the first DMG-MJHT crossover in September. Tell me guys how does this help in increasing TRPs? It will, for a day, because viewers of both the shows will watch the episode but how will it help in the long run? Specially for these two shows where over 85% audience is common?

Usually for people who watch DMG and not MJHT or vice-versa, have to compulsarily watch both the shows on the cross-over episode. Moreover, crossover episode is a high point for some twist. For instance, last time Samrat was hit and later admitted in Sanjeevani! So these twists intrigue the viewers thus help in soaring the trps high!!

i also can't think how it helps mostly they use for trp last time they want to promote DMG 2 becoz there was no twist in DMG by using mjht vieewers they promote it

now they r using DMG to promote mjht as there is season 2 of this also n good twist in DMG

as u said viewers r almost same
