Yes Rechup, its much better now.
I always feel that some positivity should be shown, we have enough downs in our lives to deal with.

As Bittu said, from now onwards, I will be happy to see some positive changes and Raghav and Sia, in association with other characters, bringing about those changes which they were supposed to bring about , as conceived earlier. And let us breathe in relief.

And we need to give the credit to National Woman's Commission for their role.

i agree wid u guys..if the only race is of TRPs then the least the channels can do is leave these social issues alone..this way all they are doing is promoting these practices..there was an article in Sunday TOI abt the same..on how all thses shows are just sending out very wrong msgs..if i find it online i will load it..

@rechup may b in kerala its not happening but its quite common in sum indian states whether N, S,E or W.bcoz sum years back though its a v.v.old may b 90s i read an article dat in sum parts of TN they made infant gals lick da datura which is a poisonous substance 2 kill dem.
whereas high female - male ratio is concerned i don't know if its true 4 kerala or not but in india female-male ratio wen taken den males working or living outside r not taken & datswhy at sum places female- male ratio is higher. so actually wat matters is 0-6 yrs child ratio which shows da true picture.😊😊
and its also true dat sumtimes though educated ppl or gals tend 2 believe sum superstitions wen it cums 2 da safety of ur luved1s. its also true dat wen all scientific tech etc. r failed 2 protect ur luved1s den we go 4 anything . and 1 e.g. is of Dr. Brian Weiss's shake in modern medicine & ultimately left it & go in 4 phschtiry &develop past life regression therapy 2 cure even those diseases which r even failed 2 b cured through modern medicine sciences. so its only depends on da time & situation we act.

Dear tiny, what i mentioned in my above posts were true . You can verify it in the official website of kerala government. As i am a keralite i can assure that the status mentioned in that site about women are true. .
According to that "The growth and development of women have direct impact on the general well-being of a society. Sex-ratio is the most credible pointer towards the status of women in any society. Kerala has a unique position in regard to sex-ratio. Over the last one hundred years females have been outnumbering males consistently. According to the 2001 census there are 1058 females per 1000 males. The major reason attributed to the increase in sex-ratio is the decline in the female infant mortality rate and the increase in life expectancy of women."
As per my personal experiance my parents never showed any discrimination with me. me and my brother were equally educated, we both are engineering graduates and i am pursuing my post graduation. I was married to whom i wished. i was given 3/4th of their property. this is same about my classmates and relatives and others around me. Here parents are working hard to provide good education for their children. we have learnt to give priority to education than anything else. I am married and i am going to college and my inlaws never showed any disapproval to this. Most of my classmates are married and even some have kids. But here it is quite normal and nobody are interested to make an issue of it.
when me and people around me are enjoying our rights then why should i bother and why should i protest?? the answer is that i wish every women in India should enjoy their rights. Our constition ensures us the right of liberty, liberty means the freedom to do anything without interfering the freedom of others. If a girl need respect from the society then first she should be respected in her home. If parents are not concerned about their girl child then how can they expect the same from her inlaws?
Quoting the condition in my state was not to hurt anyones feelings but it was just to provide a picture of a society which treat women as a part of it and respect her.I cant assure that it is the condition of all families but 95% follows this.
My aim of posting in this forum was to register my disapproval with the storyline followed in this serial. As i mentioned in my above posts the right way of women empowerment is showing the successful stories of educated and employed girls not the sufferings faced by them. i am not claiming that educated people never believe in superstitions but showing this through tv might destroy the aim of the serial. if we want to abolish social evils then first we have to come out of that.

wel after all its a show .its true that sometimes the show moves frm its storyline but it is to maintain the intrest of viewers n again they come back to their theme . n continue to attract people 2 their message . if it is all abt only the theme than i think so that we can gather such massage frm our books only . we sit on TV for entertainment n including some romantic scenes is not that bad

@rechup i agreed wid u abt kerala's stats & i only told dat its not true abt sum of oder states in india. i m from hp & here 2 ppl r more concerned abt eductn of their children whether gal or boy. even i m MSc.(horti), my younger sis is a dr.& younder bro is MBA. and my parents even didn't discriminate wid me or my sis. as 4 stats of hp is cocerned its almost at par wid kerala & if u see india today's state of state data hp is leading in primary edusctn, health, less infant mortality rate, high HDI & higher literacy rate & its said dat in nxt 3-4 yrs. it"ll b no.1 in literacy 2.
and hp is da only state where male contraceptive measures r above than national average .SmileSmileSmile
whereas female- male ratio is concerned i told abt da method adopted by our indian govt. & it was told 2 me by my father wen i was v.young & who was a dr.
and dear don't mind it i m simply stating da facts. though in our state 2 gals r better treated but its not true 4 all staes of india.i rem one of my mamaji's haryanavi frnd & wife came 4sum function at my nani's place in hp & wen frnd's wife saw da freedom enjoyed by women here she was shocked & v.impressed.and here 2 gals even after marriage if wanted 2 study they r allowed or rather maximun in-laws encouraged. we've v.v. less dowry deaths as dowry now-a-days generally luked down by ppl.SmileSmileSmile & even hp is considered safest state in india 4 women.
and i was not offended by ur posts rather i quite agreed 2 it. 1 of my frnd wen i went 4 coaching 2 delhi 4 UPSC was from kerala. and plz don't think dat i m degrading ur state or ur post as my intention is dat though sumof states like kerala, hp, meghalaya etc. r quite progressive but its not true abt all oders. theres still biasedness 4 gals.and whereas superstition is concerned its different 4 different ppl & i think showing it on tv doesn't encourage as ppl only believe wat they want 2. and i agreed wid u dat by showing it they really destroyed da story.
so cheer up and enjoy da rest of da story of show.😉😉😆😆
