Wah wah wah! Sonu can grab ANY singer's style - from Michael Jackson to Lata Mangeshkar. This is why he is called the greatest singer of our generation!

BTW, look at Sonu copying Uditji's 'Sir Sir Sir Sir Sir' at 7min38sec!

Bringing a Singer Guest judge would be a great idea. Never really followed Superstar show but I know most contestants on it from MKMM.
But definitey girls on Indian Idol are not strong enough to compete with guys.

I remember they had a similar round in II 1 and also in FG. Hope that they implement it this time around also because after II, whether they win or not, they may get offers where they have to sing with someone else, be it male or female. So, this round will help them improvise with the other singer.

That's true - when you sing in a duet, you may have to sing at a scale which is comfortable for both male and female voices, and that's a skill too!
