Part 1
Jyoti hears Kabir claim parentage of her kid. She starts getting flashbacks of the contrast b/w the way Kabir treats her, vs how Pankaj treated her. She is given an injection. Outside, Kabir asks the doctor about her, and is told that she is perfectly normal. He tells Kabir that Jyoti might have gotten dizzy due to stress, and tells him that at this stage in pregnancy, it's bad for the baby. He tells Kabir that she can be discharged now, but he is to pay full attention to her medication and her diet, and also, for one week, she needs to have complete bed rest (Deepu would be thrilled had he been here) At the clinic, a nurse gives Jyoti her prescription, and Kabir enters the room. Jyoti experiences the baby kicking, and remarks that it's very naughty 😆 She's about to remark something about it to Kabir, but stops herself, knowing that he's not the father.
That night, they are driving home, and on the way, she asks him to stop. She gets down, and Kabir asks her what's the matter. She tells Kabir that she doesn't know where she is headed. She asks him whether it's true that a woman cannot live w/o a man? Kabir tells her that the truth is that a man cannot live w/o a woman. 😆 B'cos man was alone, woman was created (which a/c is he going by - Adam & Eve?) He then apologizes to her for putting himself down as the father of her kid, as well as her hubby, noting that he has no such rights on her, but he did what he thought was right there. Jyoti tells him that she wasn't asking him any questions about that.
They arrive home, and KK asks Jyoti where she was. Kabir is about to answer, but Jyoti tells him that she was @ hospital for a regular check-up, and hence, was late. Padma suggests that she should have called, so that Padma or Deepu could have joined her, but Jyoti says that the doctor was about to leave, and so... Dadi asks her what the doctor said, and she said that everything was fine. Padma tells her that she'll prepare some food for her, and Jyoti tells her that she'll help. Kabir grabs her by her arm, and then lets go as everyone notices, but then sternly tells her that he doesn't know who told her that, but the doctor ordered 7 days of complete bedrest - no work either outdoors or indoors. KK looks @ him rather impressed, and everybody stares @ him. Jyoti leaves the room.
Kabir then tells KK that this was not a normal check-up - this is the second time she fainted due to stress, which was why they had to go to the hospital. He gives Padma the reports (I'd rather he had given it to KK or Dadi) and takes his leave. Dadi invites him to eat, but he declines, saying he has some other important work, and he'd do this some other time. Padma & Poonam go to Jyoti's room, while Dadi takes KK to another room.
KK asks Dadi that her grin is unusual, and whether she's thinking what he's thinking. Dadi tells him that she likes him a lot, and there cannot be a better guy for Jyoti (If only they knew of Kabir's proposal) 😍😍 She particularly likes that he's modern, but cultured. She tells him that whenever she closes her eyes and thinks of them as a couple, they look like Rama-Sita to her (wow!!!🥳) KK tells her that he agrees w/ her, but has a concern in his mind - why would a guy like Kabir, who has everything, want someone like Jyoti? After all, Jyoti has a history, and a baby. He wonders whether all theirs is is a friendship, and that they are reading more into it than is the case? Dadi disagrees, and tells him that this is a lot more than friendship - Kabir now wants her, and seems to be looking past all the differences. She thinks that Kabir will love Jyoti a lot. KK asks her what about Jyoti, and Dadi tells him that while her heart has probably accepted it, in her mind, she's probably not prepared to. Dadi points out how Jyoti completely trusts Kabir, and listens to him even when she doesn't others.
