Hello everyone, happy Wednesday🤗
Today was a beautiful episode all around.
Despite being an SR fan, I have to admit that for me, today, the scene with Armaan and Riddhima was the best. Hence, I will start there. Riddhima looked divine as was intended, while Armaan appeared as though utterly in the open - vulnerable to himself even. Their conversation was deeply meaningful. I think why I loved it so much was not just because of the way it was shot, but because it displayed the significance of the past while emphasizing the need to move on as a new phase of life beckons. "Tum jaante ho main yahan kyun ayi hoon… Kyun ke tumne mujhe bulaya." Her tone was soft, yet firm. She feels his pain, yet refuses to allow it to drown him, because it has full potential of doing so. Riddhima actually didn't look disturbed to me, she seemed quite determined and composed. I think that can be read as an indication that she has stepped over the line that held her back. Now she turns and looks over her shoulder, calling Armaan, who is struggling. They have been through the thickest times together, and she will not abandon him in this struggle, she will be there as an invisble guide, a friend in solitude. Tomorrow's thundering dance sounds promising, because it will mark the ultimate resolution to AR kii kahani, which will forever remain within the hearts of those they charmed. It will be a venting mechanism for Armaan to finally pour his heart and soul out into the fire of the moment and from the ashes we will hopefully see a new man with a new perception to life, a better life, the one he deserves. Although he has at a number of times cried over his fate, the dance will allow him to channel his emotions in such a way that the released energy will bring forth a new will to survive… the beginnings of this journey has already been initiated with Shilpa's entry and it can only get better. Armaan is a gem of a character, I truly hope the CVs give him what he deserves which is nothing less than the best.
Jumping back a little earlier now, anyone notice that the bracelet had an "S" on it? I realize that is likely for "Shilpa" but I thought she was to be "Kangan" on DMG? That scene with KSG and Shilpa was shot poetically. Shilpa seemed to be a part of Armaan's subconscious, something that has always been there, but not fully realized until now. She appeared as though a dream, the reality of Armaan's dreams. I'm so happy for KaSh fans and particularly just happy for Armaan, because things are finally kicking into gear for him!
Ah, now the next part… SR *sighs* Need I say more?... Of course, how can I keep it in, I might just burst with happiness and excitement! The scene in the rain on the car hood was very significant, mostly because of Sid's expressions. The way he was calling her name, you could feel the desperateness… you could sense his anxiety, his need for her. His own life depended on her breaths. This was clear from his reaction when she magically started breathing again (oh the wonders of television! Haha). The way his face fell when she removed herself from him, I felt so bad. But then it seemed Riddhima was self-conscious because Sid's presence was making her vulnerable. She was shedding layers, and realized it was happening too fast. I don't drink chai, but man, that scene was too adorable. You could tell that Sid was nervous as ever, yet even in those desperate circumstances, Riddhima stretched the ends of the blanket so that Sid could share her space.
Armaan's plea answered! When he was about to request Uppar Walah to think about him too sometimes, the branch fell on his head and all he could think was the hazy figure with the bracelet…
The precap… *blushing marathon*… *heart palpatations*… *faints*… I think we might need an ambulance or few on hand… emergencies ka daur hai~!
Ok, enough of my bak-bak, I'll leave you with these thoughts:
Ek kashmakash se guzre hai yoon,
Jaise pyaasa koi tarse paani ki ek boond.
Zindagi ke iss daur mein ghum gaye teh hum kahin,
Aaj mila hai naya raasta, mile hai khudh se phir se wahin.
Dhundhla sa hai tasavur, waqt bhi hai hairaan,
Maanga tah humne ek phool, jaane kaise mil gaya gulistaan.
