For several months, it had been rumored that the Colors show Balika Vadhu will take a leap. It didn't happen earlier but the current scenario signifies that it might be difficult for the channel and the production house to continue with the two protagonists. Mind you, Avika Gor and Avinash Mukherjee have also grown in years.

The word buzzing around in the industry is that a leap is inevitable. A source closely associated with the show informs us, "It's still not confirmed but the channel and the production are mulling over the leap. The exact picture will be revealed in the coming days."

However, a production official vehemently denied that there will be a leap.

Leap or no leap, the question is generating curiosity among its actors.

Says one, "We are hearing about a probable leap. However, there's no official word from the channel or the production house. As actors, we're keen to know what our role will be, post the leap. Hopefully, some of us will not have to grey our hair."

Another actor adds, "The leap looks imminent. I've heard that the auditions are on for the new Anandi and Jagdish. While the leap may occur, but one doesn't know much about its storyline. One doesn't even know how many of the characters will be retained."

Both Avika Gor and Avinash Muhkerjee remained unavailable for comment.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that Bhairav, who has deided to leave Massa's home with his wife and kids, will eventually return home.
