I'll always associate Asmaani with AR, 'Kabhi Na Sukoon Aaya' with Prem & Mukti, 'Rabba mere Rabba' with Angad Kripa.
I totally agree with you the song wsnt made for karan + shilpa they are not tht special tht cvs are gonna make a romantic song on a couple tht werent going out in real life they made it for the characters, thts why they still used it when riddhima chnged and when jenny came they use tht kumar song for freshness at first i didnt like it but it has sunk in nw and even then they still use asmaani, the piano piece and ishq leta hain. Yes I agree asmaani looked good on kash but its supposed to be reserved for ar. As much as I want it to be played on kash nw tbh it wouldnt go with shilpas modern character it only suited the salwaar kameez shilpa (riddhima) 😉
