Did you all notice the change in Khanak ?
At first she was the free-spirited, naive, bubbly girl , madly in love with her childhood companion. Suraj was the mature of the 2 and he indulged in all her childlike behaviour & pranks. Her parents, her in-laws and most of the town folk adored her and she was clearly a favorite.
Then Suraj died and over-night she became a pillar of strength for her in-laws, all the childlike innocence vanished and there emerged a mature woman capable of taking responsibility.
Even after her marriage with Shan , she's one with more clarity on what she wants to do . She accepts her position in the house and carries out her duties diligently. While Shan is still unable to accept the fact that he is married and still acting like a love-lorn teen. When faced with Khanak's clear thots he's always left speechless. His actions are still impulsive and he's as dependent as ever.
Finally Khanak is going to be instrumental in Shan's success and her steadfast support will make Shan mature and responsible ....
I thnk the character of Khanak is very well written ......
