This is a love story and I play the character of Dheemant in it. The character opposite me is named Aparna which is played by rookie actress Khalida Jaan. We were a couple even in our previous life. The episode is about this cursed pendant and its affect on the lives of Aparna and Dheemant. From a youth based show playing a doctor in Dill Mill Gayye to a horror show? Tell us about the experience? Oh! it's a vast experience. Shooting for DMG is absolute fun since its a youth based show and the character is quite similar to me in real life. Doing a horror show can be challenging as you have to get scared artificially. You don't see ghosts but have to look scared and spooked. Do you believe in the existence of paranormal beings? I do. I think if there is God, there is Evil too and if there are angels, there has to Satan too. Both good and bad exist in the world. Have you had any spooky experience personally? Not for a long time. But I remember this one particular incident which happened when I had gone to my father's village, Bijnaur in Uttar Pradesh. Our house is very old and I could hear weird and scary sounds inside it. They say that ghosts exist in the house and they have seen the handpump in my lawn operating on its own. How was it shooting for the show? It was a very nice experience. The director of the show Haadi Ali Abraj has also directed me in a movie titled Goodbye Trip. It was quite hectic for me as I was shooting for two shows at a time, so I hardly got time to sleep. If you happen to see the episode, you will clearly see that this guy hasn't slept. But at the end, it was worth the experience. What do you expect from the show? I expect viewers to like this episode as it has a proper story unlike other horror shows which is just about ghosts appearing on your screens and spook you. But this episode will kick start with a proper story and will scare you simultaneously. This story is a combination of love and horror. Have you ever felt so helpless in expressing your feelings to someone special in you real life? I have been a shy guy all my life. I had never disclosed my feelings to any girl even if I felt for her. This might sound strange considering the fact that I am an actor by profession, who is expected to express himself well. What are you scared of the most in life? I am scared of nothing in life. Which has been your favourite horror show or movie? Orphanage remains to be my favouriite horror movie.
