Himani Kyunki was such a craze,wasn't it?My parents religiously followed it till Mihir's death but I can't believe she made him a have an extra-marital affair,no matter what the reason

The beginning of Kyunki was pretty amazing, and then his death and comeback and Mandira's entrance was fine too.

But after a while, it became obvious that Balaji assumed viewers were a bunch of idiots who would watch anything they showed...pretty similar to Bidaai now actually

Totally agree..myself being a girl, I want to watch serials about strong women. I get the fact that nowadays shows are about some types of situations that women have to face like child marriage, eve-teasing, getting sold, etc..and I don't mind watching that because things like that do happen and are more common then we think they are. But if they want to make a show on that topic, show the women to be strong even when they are in a bad situation..don't show them being totally regressive. I feel like on TV they really don't show the actual reality of the issues they are trying to portray..well I guess this change is going to take time
