This is no fictious story or a fan fic ... This is just how everyone is around here ... There are many on this forum who just need or search for a reason to bad mouth contestants ...

Like just take Antara for example or Farah the other day .. Damn! you guys just pound on things like those as if it is the end of the whole thing ... People only reacted/over-reacted because Meenal went out ... What would have been the reaction if she was voted back in ???

Everyone would have been like "Oh, janta knows what talent is .. and Farah's comments didn't matter .. Wow, all thanks to Anu ji for standing up for her .." .. blah and blah ...

For crying out loud, this is a REALITY show .. There is no such politically correct answer one gives or one reasons ... What Farah felt and saw that particular day, she said it out ... If you think of it she represents a common man as my sister pointed out to me last night .. And that's really true .. She has some sense of music but not as much as Sonu Nigam or Anu Malik ... Just like most of us ... She gave her good comments when Meenal appealed to her and also critiqued her when she felt so...

Same goes for Antara .. She said it in a very humorous way ... She didn't mean ill to Meenal or anything .. She said "looking at the voting pattern aisa lagta hai kay Meenal ko yahan ka seat book karwaa diya" ... which is true ... She meant it in a good sense ... I dun know why so many threads have been posted lately saying that she is arrongant .. It has nothing to do with arrogance .. They have been together for so long .. So give them a break .. Such things won't come in their way ...

They are all very normal human beings like us ... And will react the same way as we would in such situations ... I think we have to be more understanding before saying stuff about them like "I hate her or she is baised ..." .. Someone even called Farah, Simon .. who is the American Idol judge .. If she was anything like him, people would start crying at her every comment .. Thank God, she is not like that !

I know each one of us have very fave and are die-hard fans, but I think we can, at the least, refrain from talking bad about others in a negative way ... Critiquing is good but only if it's constructive ...

that's an excellent question to pose ... sadly, the truth is NO .. but the trend that we are seeing only points out to that ... That again goes back to seeing how many people actually watch the show .. and how many people are then willing to SMS and spend all that money ...

I was just thinking to myself the other day ... If we look at the voting pattern, we don't see a lotta votes coming in from the South .. The reason being very obvious that not many people understand hindi ... And the ones who do probably don't have the time to watch TV ... And even if they do watch TV , they are not willing to spend money ... If we eliminate all those people we are left with a few who vote, which seemingly is a negligble number ...

The votes also come in mostly from Mumbai, coz that's where the show is ... or from Delhi, Calcutta and the regions the contestants are from ... There is more publicity of these shows in the North than it is in any where else ... And the smaller the state is the more # of votes you get .. coz almost everyone knows everyone else .. word of mouth is enough to get votes ...

So seeing all that, regionalism preceeds over talent ...

People really need to come back to reality and relize whatever happens, happens for the best. Whoever makes it to the Top will obliusly deserve it because that person had alot of fan following. So why do we have to bad mouth the contestents? After all they are there so they can entertain us! Just vote for who you want to vote for and dont critize the others because people will like what they want to like, you cant change anyone's opinion.

As for the whole Antra sitaiuan, i totally agree with what you said. Antra just said that becuase that was the pattern that was happening. If Meenal was in Antra's place, she would probley say the same thing.
