CID showing signs of RECOVERY?

I have opened this thread cos i have noticed off - late there is a gradual shift towards negativity in the forum yet again.I dont want that... As i have said even before , Achha achha sochenge to achha achha hoga! So dont worry, if there are negatives, there are hundreds of positives too... SO relax everyone and just hope for the best! CID will always remain the best... as long as we will consider it to be the BEST!!!

For the last few weeks, may be after Khatra Chemical Bomb Ka, we have seen some signs of recovery in the show.. Some of them are :

- Abhijeet Sir is back in his form. His aggressive look has returned to a large extent

- No Abhi-Tarika flirting after many months!!! How much many of us wanted that!!!

- Better plots, at least much better than Dead Boxer and many other meaningless stupid cases. Not many loopholes either.

- Freddy is doing some serios stuff, at least in Ek Khoon Do Baar , he wasnt seen making faces and cracking stupid jokes

- Quality of side actors is much better now. AT least better than some of the popular faces who were seen in the recent past in the show( talking about the actress Sunaina(purvi) and Shikha SIngh ( Manali Muder episode) and many more)

- Forensic scenes have improved in the past 2 weeks. there was a time, we all dreaded such stupidity going on in the lab.

- Group Discussions at Bureau are being shown these days. Even if they are for few mins, but they are a part of the episodes.

- ACP is behaving normally at times.Not always SHOUTING SHOUTING SHOUTING.

- Tasha is being given some sort of importance. She is doign a very good job. Her new set of costumes is nice too.

- These days, DISGUISE scenes are being shown in many episodes, which i dont mind...cos as always i love Undercover operations..Just hope that ABhi-Daya do such disguise roles more often..rather than SACHIN and Kaajal.

- Variety seen in CASE Titles these days. Less of KHOON and Khooni.

- Variety in cases as well...at least not every case is a MURDER INVESTIGATION....For the past few weeks, we have seen some non-murder cases as well.

Mentioning about the positives, doesnt mean that Fireworks should feel that they have satisfied us and go back to their LOW TIMES yet again.SO we would request FIREWORKS and the CREATIVES to continue with the good work u have been doing since few weeks.Plss we want some consistency in ur work...like we used to see in 2002/ 2004 cases.



Now coming to the negative points :

- One and only SACHIN. He has lead to ABhi-Daya break up( sorry for the wrong term used😆) He has turned out to be a BOSS to Freddy, Vivek and Tasha !!! He is being given too much importance and is still expressionless!!!!

- Daya has been missing in the last few episodes...But thats bcos he was on a holiday...and I can assure U, he will be back full flegedly soon.

- Episodes being dragged at times. Thanx to BAD direction by some.

- Viivek left to be just an extra AT TIMES...but sometimes, he is given importance.Problem is again SACHIN...Viivek given less importance than SACHIN !!!

- Its either Kaajal or Tasha getting importance in one episode, i wonder why the hell did they add Kaajal at all!

- Abhi given less screen space than SACHIN???!!!! For what JOY?😡😡😡



Main negative point right now is SACHIN! We want SACHIN TO GO....Mr.Silent Member, Plsss plsss handle this issue somehow, Put forward our views to EVERYONE RELATED TO CID and then decide. U know, we have always wished that CID remains the BEST! U have helped a lot so as to make sure that our voices are heard... We have seen some really POSITIVE CHANGES IN THE RECENT PAST...but now we want yet another CHANGE...Plss Get BACK ABHI_DAYA together and let Sachin go. Freddy should be promoted and he has full capabilities of leading others including Sachin.

Agreed with you completely. However, I will still give Sachin another chance because in his last performance, he did manage to impress me 20% of the time. I think Kajjal is a good addition to the team, considering her performances before. This episode I couldn't make much out because she practically did nothing. Anyways, if Sachin comes in between Daya and Abhijit, I'd prefer if he just stand in a corner rather than mess around between the lovely bond.

Trust me, i dont mind Kaajal..but the thing is, we have seen a particular trend that they r following. Either give Taasha importance or Kaajal in one episode...( exception, Khatra Chemical Bomb Ka )...SO if they are finding it so hard to give Taasha and Kaajal same importance, then what was the use of this new addition. I have not much complaints from Kaajal apart from this...She has been a good choice and is improving day by day with her performance.

For me, Sachin's performance is not the basic issue..Issue is he shudnt be given so importance. Even if he was a great actor ( which i dont think he is, sorry, no offences meant ), i wudnt have liked him.He has resulted in ABhi-Daya break up, he has become senior to Freddy !!! I would have still accepted him if he wudnt have been responsible for the above two disasters!!!!😡

I agree with all you have said. The above mentioned positive points with the original team would have meant that we reached the standards of late 2006 to early 2007. That would mean we are on the road to recovery. But unfortunately addition of these new members have just not let us progress.

Sachin and Sonali, I have a big big problem with them. Useless additions and dislike them even more when they are given more screen time than the original cast. AND these days Tasha is doing so well, so well. I hate it when she is sidelined by a new entrant in the show. These new entries have just spoilt the chemistry of our close knit team. This one looks like a battalion with every frame filled up with too many faces.

All these problems will go away if CID goes back to is Weekly Format with the original team. Now that Aahat is turning into a daily, Sachin can please join in there and leave CID for good.

Another suggestion could be that please give us full dose of our original team on Fridays and use the battalion of Saturdays, so atleast we fan are satisfied to some extent. As it is since last two weeks we have seen that Saturday's cases are weak and we haven't warmed up to this timing at all, use these new members only of Saturdays.

It is a sudden change for the creative team too. Even they are probably doing a trial and error method the get the right combination.

Exactly which is why this Bi-Weekly thing is a crap idea. They have only added workload on our cast and crew and still the audience is not satisfied. Go back to weekly and see the show shine.

Or better still, make it a half-hour show stretched over 2 days, Friday and Saturday. The anxiety level is also there, and I think that gives less time for all these silly jokes and what not. After the one-hour shows have been implemented, the quality of cases have gone for a downfall. OK, the cases in 2006 and early 2007 were good, but for the most part, the one hour show has increased the screening time, which gives them more time to show such shayaris and all that.

One of the following can be done.

1] Go back to one hr weekly, get rid of new members.

2] Make CID half hour bi-weekly, get rid of new members

3] Keep original team on Fridays and use new memebrs only on Saturdays. Atleast we should get a full dose once a week.

Who will watch this episode???? Such an episode cannot even called as 'CID'. It has to be something like SB!!!!
