Quite true. Perhaps in future the effects of planetary influences can be measured eg. during a full moon certain persons do go a bit crazy or looney.

Based on info below a Black Hole does not have a very strong suction power but once something falls in it it is the end of the story with no escape.
"If the Sun was replaced with a black hole that had the same mass as the Sun, the Schwarzschild radius would be 3 km (compared to the Sun's radius of nearly 700,000 km). Hence the Earth would have to get very close to get sucked into a black hole at the center of our Solar System. "

you could call it that since it belongs to the kuiper belt now. it's considered a dwarf planet with a number tag to it.
