I personally found her better in Chameli.
There was a rawness to her performance in Chameli. And I think she had more dramatic scope in chameli than she did in Omkara.
And yes, despite everyone giving such awesome perfomrances, the reason no one performance stands out is coz there were so many good ones, and also coz the film belonged to Saif.

Yeah, she was very good in Chameli as well. The girl has a lot of potential left unused. I think Kareena should try more of these 'serious' cinemas as that suits her more.

Omkara is an out and out Saif movie! No two ways about it! The man stole every scene he was in! The best intepretation of Shakespear's Iago ever done! And gosh, despite the dirty clothes and general dishevellement, he looked so sexy! One of my favorite scenes in the movie (so many actually!) is when Ajay appoints Vivek to be the next Bahubali...the look on Saif's face was incredibly etched! And also, some of the raunchiest, funniest and hard-hitting lines are all given to Langda Tyagi! There is one particular scene where he talks about Vivek and Bipasha....it was something very vulgar and downright crude, but Saif pulls it off amazingly!
The guy who played Saif's buddy in the movie is Deepak Dobriyal and he won a lot of awards for best debut performance, including a filmfare too!
I loved Kareena's Dolly Mishra in Omkara! The last scene with Ajay is just beautiful...her expression's, body language, helplessness, bewilderement, fear...everything conveyed so nicely! Deffo one of her best performances!

I have been trying to watch the film again (I watched it only once) for quite a while. It doesn't get aired on TV (at least not when I am at home), neither can it be found in my local CD shops. :-(

To get such a cast together again...Ajay, kareena, Saif, Vivek, Naseerudin Shah, Konkona...coupled with Vishal Bharadwaj.
Gosh.
