It's confirmed: Shilpa is back in a new role!

June 5, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Hey! It's good news for all you Shilpa Anand fans, the girl who was lately seen in Star One's "Dill Mill Gayye' as the first Dr. Riddhima and had a huge fan following is all set to be back! Star One is revamping its shows and the show is in for a change as well.

A source says, "Shilpa Anand who played the beautiful Riddhima in Armaan's life, on popular demand, will be seen on the show once again starting 14th June. Shilpa Anand gained immense popularity in the television industry when she started playing Dr. Riddhima Gupta in Dill Mill Gayye, an intern in Sanjeevani where she chanced upon Dr. Armaan who was another intern just like her in the hospital. But this time Shilpa won't be Dr. Riddhima but will essay a parallel lead character and Jennifer will continue essaying the character of Dr. Riddhima"

"Shilpa and Armaan (Karan Singh Grover) were the most popular onscreen couple at that time. She was at the pinnacle of success when she decided to move on, leaving thousands of heartbroken fans behind her. But now with her entry will get her paired with either Dr. Armaan or Dr. Siddhant." We tried calling Shilpa Anand to know her stand on her come back show but she remained unavailable whereas our present Dr. Riddhima, Jennifer Winget said, "Yes, Shilpa will be there, I will be there, we all will be like a big happy family (Laughs), that's all I know."

With Shilpa Anand back in the show, it is for us to wait and watch what her role will be like. But one thing is for sure… her entry will add a generous dose of romance and people are sure to fall in love with the show all over again! Dill Mill Gayye is all poised to re-create magic with Shilpa's re-entry!
