Unfortunately, even though I love watching this serial, I haven't seen it from the start, as Colors was only aired in the UK a while back. Can someone plz tell me the story so far?? It would be really helpful.

Okk here goes....Amoli is this very poor village girl who is born n brought up in a very rural village where we still have landlords exploiting innocent villagers who are not aware of their basic constitutional rights...
Therefore they keep their land girvi in exchange for money from these landlords who in turn exploit them and also ask them to keep their daughters girvi if they cannot pay the amount in the stipulated time..
Thakur Digvijay Singh is one such landlord who is completely power driven ad rules this area called Devghar..
The serial strts with the background of farmer suicides where one horrifying incident happens where Amoli's distant relative ends her and her 3 childrens lives bcoz they cld not repay the debts and wer living in utter poverty..
Amoli is faced with a similar situation when she realizes that her father had to keep his land girvi by force becoz the thakur wanted to gift that particular land to his niece Chandana's in laws...
Amoli then goes to meet thakur bcoz she does not realize that he is behind this crime thinking his henchmen wer doing all this mischief on the very same day Chandana's Roka is goin on so she stealthily climbs the pipe from the back to get to top floor to meet DV..
That is hw they meet for the first time n their meeting is magical...Bcoz something happens to DV after meeting her..
His first intention was to bed her and asks her to to come to thekri the next day...
He slowly guides her dwn the same pipe she uses to get to his room..N again that moment is very romantic when he lends his hand to her n the world comes to a still..After that DV gets totally obsessed by Amoli....
The initial fascination becomes obsession, mad obsession, luv to deep luv...She comes to knw of his real intentions n then on it has been a struggle for her to keep away from this man..
Who does all shady tactics to get her....Even though he is a married man with a real caring and luving wife..
He even gets Amoli married to his servant Radhey so that he can get her to his haveli n make her his mistress..
But Radhey also falls in luv with Amoli after sometime n he tries to help her out against this man who was like a God to him n almst like a father..
Thakur kills Radhey bcoz he wanted Amoli at any cost...Amoli runs of to Meerut where she meets her biological mom which she din knw existed..
She realizes that she is not born to her poor parents in Devghar but her actual mom is a very rich woman..
Here also the thakur manages to find her n comes as Ranvir n pretending so that he cld get into Amoli's gud books and eventually marry her...
He succeeds but he tells her the truth n now we are back to the DV/Amoli tussle...N it goes on :-)

DV has an elder brother...Who is dead....Older bro has 3 children....Suren who was reintroduced yesterday was earlier played by sum1 else, Puneet again was played by sum1 else but the new guy is doing a gr8 job as he has almst replaced DV as the new villain and Chandana who is the same character that was introduced right from the strt. She and Amoli are of the same age and share a very warm bond because Amoli had once saved here life....
Chandana is married to Deepesh whom u must have seen yesterday....He is a typical spoilt brat, his dad is DV's best friend and therefore this alliance..
Deepesh hates DV bocz a while ago when Amoli was newly married to Radhey...Deepesh almst gets Radhey killed in an accident bcoz he was drunk and driving..He only later on comes to knw abt Radhey's relation with his future wife Chandana and at that time threatens Amoli to keep her mouth shut abt who did the accident so that nobody comes to knw abt the same...
DV when he comes to knw that Deepesh had threatened Amoli and even slapped her beats Deepesh black n blue and also breaks of the relation bet him n Chandana.....DV has brought up Suren, Chandana and Puneet after his brother's death...
But again Deepesh's mother who is a wily character threatens DV that she will expose his true feelings for Amoli n cause him trouble...DV eventually had to relent n that is how Deepesh n Chandana get married...
DV is married to Urmila for 10 years but has no children in her....Urmila is a very luving, dedicated and caring wife who luved DV to death...But he ditches her for Amoli...
DV has a younger brother Nachiket who is married to Shobhana who is older thn DV also...Shobhana was like Amoli who comes from a poor family and was raped by Nachiket....She files a complaint against him..
DV comes to save his brother then as DV himself used to be a bad guy n asks Shobhana how much wld it cost to repay her lost izzat..
She gets angry and slaps DV and tells him that she will destroy him...But DV who is very smart n powerful forcefully gets her married to Nachiket....
Shobhana always hated DV and his family and bcoz of that resentment she also supported DV to get Amoli initially bcoz she felt that all women associated with the Thakur family shld end up like her unhappy..
But she soon realizes her folly and supports Amoli and tells her if ever in life she needs any help from her she cld always rely on her...Shobhana wot we have seen last of her was that she was pregnant and DV asks her to get out of his hse bcoz he felt that it was bcoz of Shobhna that he lost Amoli...
DV also has a sister who is called Darshana who is married to one of the other guys u see there in that family...
Yesterday u saw another character reintroduced that of Kaumudi dancer and prostitute who by the way is Amoli's best and childhood friend..
Again u must have seen her mother an episode ago when she tells Amoli to go back to the haveli and take revenge from DV..
Kaumudi again was an innocent village girl who had to sleep with DV in order to save her land from him...
She even gets pregnant with his child but DV refuses to acknowledge and insults her in front of the whole village by saying that I slept with u for only one nite and that does not mean I am bound to u...He also says that ur father has kept u girvi for money and god knws where all he must have kept u girvi and whom all u must have slept with so dnt expect me to take responsibility for ur child..
Kaumudi insulted and humiliated runs away from the village and ends up in a brothel...She becomes a prostitute whom Amoli had met again when she had tried to end her life sumtym ago...Nw again she comes back as Deepesh's luv interest...This is the stry in a gist...Hope u can connect all the loose ends :-)
