Time leap in Miley Jab Hum Tum

Miley Jab Hum Tum is set for a time leap. This youth-oriented show, owing to dwindling TRPs, will go through a complete revamp in the storyline and treatment.

The recent changes made in the show haven't got a favourable response from the audiences, hence a decision to introduce new characters has been taken. Post the leap, the story will go ahead by three years and some of the significant characters will be eased out like Uday, Benji and Dia played by Jas Karan Singh, Abhishek Sharma and Naveena Bole respectively. One of the four lead characters — Mayank, Nupur, Gunjan and Samrat —will die in the show too! Newer characters will be introduced. What's different is that unlike other shows this one isn't going for a age leap, instead they are apparently, all set to add more characters to the storyline. What remains to be seen is whether this college romance will opt for a more serious track? There's buzz that Sreejita De from Annu Ki Ho Gayi and Nikhil Chaddha of Swarg are likely to join the show. Let's see if the changes can change the show's fortunes...
