Yes this is my request to creatives that please don't tame Krishna yet as the charm of the show will be lost . . The show is named after Pratigya but it is Krishna who is the life of the show .With just Pratigya and her 'good 'family and her social worker agenda the show wud be a FLOP. . There are many who hate Krishna and are totally on Pratigyas side . I totally understand that but i want to point out somethings here about where Pratigya is wrong . . 1] Her inability to understand that Krishna can be anything else other than what he is today inspite of living in that chauvinist house and its ugly atmosphere . She treats him with cold contempt without understanding that the social strata he came from has no good manners , a jungle law of the survival of the fittest , horrific sneering at anyone who does nOT fit their criteria of manliness . Pratigya saying 'PEHLE DHANG SE BAAT KARNA SEEKHO " is ridiculous in the extreme as Krishna has not been to the school and society of manners as she has . He DOESNT KNOW MANNERS , PLAIN AND SIMPLE , ITS A FACT . From where will he know manners , He is living in an atmosphere where GAALIS r given in a daily basis . She expecting good manners from him is not wrong but she has to understand that they wont come to him out of the blue . She has to take it upon herself to teach him a few ...........he is besotted by her and she has the power but she uses it to play hard to get and TADPOFY him as a man ..........not for a positive purpose inspite of moralizing ALL the time of what is Sahi and what is GALAT .
2] Her so called education is of NO USE if she doesn't understand the simple fact what even that uneducated , rustic Komal pointed out to her ..........That Krishna tries to do the right things in the wrong way all the time . His ways r wrong , immature , forceful , but his goals r not bad . Education enables u to have a calm perspective and arrive at the root of the problem , but Pratigya expects Krishna to have good manners , to stand and sit like a gentleman , to be like Nitin perhaps .......well it just wont happen . What efforts has she done from her side to fulfil her own expectations ? Of trying to change Krishna with love , as a woman ? Love has Far greater power than ANGER and sumone needs to tell Pratigya that . Everytime he comes fumbling and bumbling to her feet like a clumsy animal , his love and passion for her not within his control and she kicks him and drives him away . And after doing this she has expectation that he shud treat her like a gentleman . How can he when he is not one . You Make him na .
3] Both Komal and Krishna........the rustic uneducated duo tried to WORK ON THEIR MARRAIGE . The Adarsh Pratigya DUO Did not make a single effort .They married for vengeance . They do not believe in letting bygones be bygones and accepting the present situation and making the most of it or bringing the best out of it . See what Naina's love did to Komal .........she is rapidly changing .It is NOT ADARSH WHO CHANGED KOMAL .....he just ignored her , and secretly pined for Roli and constantly showed her contempt [ just like his sister] ..........telling her u can NEVER be in the same mould as my sisters are , a very cruel and hurtful thing to say to a wife . He was excellent at going around with a perpetual frown on his face when his wife was around . Komal had simple expectations and his love wud have had perhaps an even more faster change than Nainajis love for Komal but Adarsh just didnt give it .
Pratigya meanwhile gave her 100% to her sasural but 0% to Krishna . I still Dont understand how an educated girl like her thought that this situation wud work long term ...........this not sleeping with husband and being excellent bahu outside to maintain a facade . Exactly how long was SHE expecting to pull it off without people noticing and commenting ? Komal had noticed , so had Amma understood later . Instead of telling Krishna that DHANG SE BAAT KARO , Why dont Adarsh and Pratigya question themselves of what use is their education if it doesnt even teach them how to read people correctly and define a marraige ? Education shud enable a person to work on his marraige more than an uneducated person right ? But I dont see it with Pratigya or Adarsh at all . They r committed to not working on their marraige and sticking to vengeance .............great education indeed .
4] Krishna LIED for Pratigya , not for himself or to project himself as a man in front of SS . Personally Krishna cares a damn and can hold his own against his father . Again , it was a WRONG way of protecting Pratigya . He who can tell his dad Ur only My dad...big deal I can take the world on for my wife And can break a vase on his elder bros head does NOT FEAR FOR HIMSELF . He did not want to be his dad and force himself On Pratigya nor did he want the truth that she is NOT SLEEPING wITH HIM to come out in his chauvinistic household as they wud go after Pratigya with a hatchet after that and make her life miserable . He can deal with them . SHE CANT . He wud be out of the house , she wud be INSIDE . Im not defending his lies ........Im merely pointing out that he once more subconsciously tried to protect Pratigya in a WRONG WAY . He resorted to Lying .Well he was wrong , but Had not Pratigya pushed him in a corner by refusing to let him touch her EVER ? She had not asked for some more time .........she had said FOREVER . Wasnt that too much for a man of his psyche to handle ? Yet he did not Touch her . For many days .People put it down to his Ego , but it isnt . He cannot bear to hurt her . Even the rape attempt .......they showed it stopped due to SS but one cry from Pratigya that Ur hurting me and he wud have drawn back ........She is his weakness . Krishna cannot hurt Pratigya , period ............He can hurt the world for Pratigya is the story .So Dont read too much in the rape attempt .
5] Pratigya doesnt seem to excercise her own brain much as a WOMAN . She is always listening to her Dad , Mum , Dadi , or even Aarushi . More like a SANSKAARI ROBOT . There r somethings beyond typified Sanskaars and have to be understood with the heart and instincts of a woman . Komal has those qualities........see how she instinctively sensed Roli as a threat . See how she bluntly told her Dad and Amma That Im not gonna give up mY MARRAIGE for Ur EGO ISSUES . She told her bro Krishna off so that SHE CUD HAVE A MARRAIGE .............Pratigya stood there with a cocky expression on the face , not realising that Komal is protecting her marraige but she is giving a hang whether HER [ Pratigyas] marraige with her bro exists . That Want for a marital life has made Komal perhaps selfish that she has outgrown her Dad and her blood brother even . Pratigya did NOT understand this fact as a woman as she has NO womanly instincts at all . Later This Same Komal came around and told the Professor that Tell Ur Daughter na to realise that Baba loves her like crazy but is only doing things the wrong way .
6] The Professor is Not sending Pratigya back purely for an Ego issue .............it is interesting to note that he is willing to send her back to that same hell hole if SS himself comes to take her . That hell hole is not gonna change .........it is gonna remain exactly like before . Had the professor brought her back for good I wud not say anything but He is ready to send if SS comes .So this is NOT a fight of right vs wrong , purely an ego issue .And What does the PROF expect that after making SS bend and come to take his daughter , this fact will be forgotten by her sasuralwaalahs and she will be treated like a queen once she goes back ? Isnt it aggravating the situation ...this egoistic stand ?It hardly seems a principled stand to me .
Btw .....To date after the slap episode Both The prof and Naina have NOT asked Pratigya why she has not allowed Krishna to touch her as a wife ..............is this ok with their sanskaars ? This ugly fact came out prior to the slap , so how come they r not telling their own child a few things of life ........that staying in a marraige as a way to punish is destructive , either gET OUT OF IT or give it ur hundred percent . Instead they r oiling her hair and pampering her ...........where is DADi now ? When most needed ?
7] There is a scene in this serial when Pratigya clearly tells Roli that she feels nothing from inside ........No STIRRING inspite of Liking Nitin as a prospective groom . Well if the creatives choose to show Pratigya falling in love finally , show her experiencing the stirring inside and out from within . Let us see her scared for having such feelings , of being unable to identify them or analyse them . Let us see her scared for having such feelings for sumone who is absolutely NOT HER TYPE. That wud be very interesting . Let us see it finally dawning on her what Krishna must have felt all along and identifying with them . I want her to love Krishna for what he is FIRST and THEN change him with her love by channelising his emotions in the right direction ....I DONT WANT TO SEE KRISHNA CHANGING FIRST AND THEN PRATIGYA FALLING IN LOVE . That is hardly a love story .
8] Bonding between Krishna and at least one of Pratigya's family members is a MUST . Be it Dadi and Krishna [ That wud be a hilarious touch or Nainaji and Krishna] . This person can be used to show Pratigya a diffrent perspective . Similiarly , Bonding between Pratigya and Krishna's friends is a must ........so she can understand Krishna better .I dont know if this has already been shown ........If so Ive missed it . They cud show her having no attitude and bonding with them for starters .
9] The Saxenas r a 'GOOD 'family but The Singhs are 'REAL" and a family in their own way . They r uneducated , coarse , with their own brand of humor and sarcasm , their own values , their own rules . For instance they answer with a counter question instead of a direct humble answer like the Saxenas but the answer is given in the counter question itself . We see Krishnas mom feeding him litchis in a certain way and he enjoying it . They are direct in their talks and dont sugar coat words . When observed , reality comes across thru the Singhs . The changes that family needs can be shown gradually instead of quick expectations . It wud be fun to see that . For instance Shakti can be shown getting attached to the very kid he wanted aborted due to Pratigya and relations between him and Kesar improving . This show has tremendous potential.
10] Pratigya is a story of The Beauty and The Beast . The beauty changes the beast with her love . It is Now time for Pratigya to come half way and start falling in love ...........CREATIVES PLEASE NOTE OUR REQUEST . Krishnas outburst of SARRY .........his crude apology in front of all [ what a beating his ego took] , the lengths he can go to for her , the way he cried on the phone Come back , Ur feeling very nice na seeing how Im going crazy without u ............are his proofs of crazy love for her which he has done time and again ., in a very crude , wrong way . There has been coldness from Pratigyas part and No understanding of his heart at all .Let her at least begin understanding . Before introducing twists and spoiling a perfectly good story which is great till now , Can we plz see Pratigya learning sumthing from Komal and going against her Dad Moms Wishes and sanskaars for once and going to Krishna ?
My personal wish is to see her slapping Aarushi the next time she insults Krishna ..........this need not be wish of all plzz .😃
If this is a love story , this change in Pratigya is a must . Dont change Krishna YEt totally ........The show will flop . Later perhaps . Right now show Pratigya opening up as a woman and understanding Krishnas passion .
