Start of episode
The inspector after threatening Chandini comes back to his desk. Romeo comes upto him and pleads with him, asking him to free sister ( Chandini ) as she is not the type of person to do anything wrong. This fact he can swear on God and once when he says God promise, he can never tell a lie. The inspector asks him what is his relation to Chandini and Romeo replies he is her padosi. The inspector tells Romeo not to act too smart with him as he is also under suspicion being her neighbour.
Meanwhile in the hospital, the doctor is feeling the pulse of Manisha who is still lying unconscious. Beeji is looking on with a very worried expression. Just then Sheeba comes running with tears in her eyes. On seeing Manisha, she stops short and says ye kya ho gaya! She tells the doctor how Manisha is and the doctor says that her condition is quite serious and they have to do an operation fast, but he cannot do it yet. Sheeba gets angry at the doctor and shouts at him demanding to know why he hasn't performed it yet and no doubt he wants more money to do it. The doctor says that he cannot perform the operation because he cannot administer anaesthesia as there are traces of drugs in Manisha's body system. Both Beeji and Sheeba fall silent at this. The doctor goes on saying that it is very easy to place all the blame on the doctors, but you people conveniently forget your responsibilities and if you had taken more care, such a situation would not have happened. He tells the two that he will do all he can, but they have to pray for Manisha to come into consciousness, otherwise……… He leaves the room and Beeji and Sheeba are left stunned.
A lady police officer leads Chandini into a cell. Chandini with tears in her eyes remembers what Beeji had told Babuji on the phone that you should be really proud of both their daughters and their achievements. Chandini thinks to herself that Manisha is lying in the hospital and now she is in jail. Just then Romeo comes outside the cell and pleads with the police guard to speak to Chandini for just 2 minutes. The guard agrees. Romeo comes upto Chandini and says if she is ok. Chandini crying says that the police are asking her all sorts of questions on drugs and she doesn't know anything about the matter at all. Romeo says he believes her. Chandini then tells Romeo to go to the hospital as Beeji is totally alone there and she really needs your help. Romeo is unwilling to leave her in such a state, but Chandini tells him that you think of me as your sister right? Then please listen to your sister's wishes and go to the hospital. I will be perfectly fine. Romeo finally agrees and when he goes from there, Chandini wipes her tears and says to herself that she cannot lose hope so soon and somewhere there will be a light in all this darkness.
Adi and Vishesh are sitting in Vishesh's cabin. Vishesh tells Adi that everytime he goes to New Zealand, he thinks to himself that he should take time to explore the place, but he becomes so busy that he is always unable to and when he comes back to India, he becomes so tired that he is not able to do anything at all. Adi tells him not to take so much stress and tells him that he can start putting more responsibility on his younger brother's strong shoulders. Vishesh laughs and tells Adi that your time will also come. He then teasingly says that you didn't say all this because you think your elder brother is getting old. Adi says that that is not the case at all and he said all this because he is becoming more responsible. Vishesh then asks him how Laveena is doing now that she is discharged from the hospital and gone home. Adi is flustered for a moment, then replies that she is doing fine and most probably she is at home getting fat eating homecooked food. Vishesh then asks teasingly that she has not started taking crack and all that right? Both Adi and Vishesh laugh at this. Just then the peon comes and says that Inspector Vaghale has come to meet Vishesh. Vishesh is surprised and says, police in IC. Adi has a scared expression on his face.
Beeji and Sheeba are pacing worriedly outside the ICU when Romeo comes up to them.
Beeji demands to know where is Chandini and why didn't he bring her with him. Romeo says that Chandini is in the police station as the police are doing enquiries. Beeji demands to know why. Romeo replies haltingly that since Chandini was discovered with a drug addict, the police think she has information on the drug racket. Beeji is shocked and says that how can they do that when poor Chandini is totally innocent and she has no information at all. Sheeba tries to console Beeji and says that the police are only doing their duty. Beeji says to Romeo that they have to go to the station to be with Chandini.
In Jalandhar, Babuji gets up from the bed, puts on his glasses and reaches for the phone. His wife comes upto him with tea and asks him what he is doing. Babuji tells her that he is checking the phone to see if it is allright. His wife teasingly says that the phone was fine 10 minutes ago. Babuji defensively says anything can happen to the phone at any time and he is just checking it to make sure it is allright. His wife says that I know that the worry of your daughters is eating you from inside. You spoke to Chandini, but you haven't yet spoken to Manisha and you really feel like speaking to her right? Babuji with a sheepish smile nods in agreement. His wife says in that case, why don't you call and speak to her now. She asks him if he remembers the number and Babuji scoffs at her saying that it is Chandini's number and how could he forget it.
In the chawl, the phone rings and Tulsi ( Vidya's saas ) picks it up. Babuji asks for Manisha Kapoor, Chandini's sister and Tulsi asks him who he is. Babuji introduces himself and says that I am their Babuji. Tulsi with a smirk on her face says, Oh Babuji!
Sheeba and Beeji come to meet Chandini in the jail. Beeji takes Chandini's hands through the bars and laments as to what she will say to Ranjith ( Chandini's father ), that because of 1 daughter's mistake, the other daughter is suffering the consequences of it. Chandini crying tells Beeji not to say anything against Manisha as she is in the hospital fighting for her life. She tells Beeji that by now the operation is over right? Beeji says no. Chandini is shocked and says, but this operation is so important and necessary and the doctor had assured me that he will do it. Sheeba says that Manisha has lost a lot of blood and there was only 1 blood bottle whose bloodgroup matched hers. Now they have arranged for other bottles from other hospitals, but they cannot administer it unless her condition is stabilized. Chandini pleads with Beeji that she wants to meet Manisha and asks her to take her from here. Beeji says that she has sent Romeo to the lawyer to arrange for bail and asks Chandini to keep faith in Rab and Matharani as they are always there for them as protection.
Inspector Vaghale is sitting opposite Vishesh and Adi. Vishesh asks him what is the matter. The inspector tells him that a few days back one of your employees Laveena was admitted to the hospital due to an overdose of drugs. Vishesh is shocked on hearing this. The inspector continues and now another of your employees, Chandini Kapoor has been discovered with a drug addict. Both Vishesh and Adi are stunned on hearing this and Vishesh exclaims, Chandini! The inspector says that he has to do an enquiry in IC.
In the hub, all the employees are gathered around. An irritated Smitha asks Amy as to why they are being told to continue to stay even after their shift is over. Just then Tyson comes in and says that the management is sorry, but they have to stay for some more time as the police have to do an enquiry. Everyone are shocked on hearing this. Kabir asks why and Tyson replies it is because Chandini has been found with a drug addict. Everyone is stunned on hearing this and Amy exclaims, Chandini, Mini didi! Somebody says that you can never trust people. Amy says in defense of Chandini that she is not the person to do anything of this sort. Somebody else says you are just saying it because she is your friend and now because of her, everybody will suspect that we are also addicts. Amy again says staunchly that Chandini will never do such a thing. Smitha then asks Amy as to what she knows that she is not telling everybody else.
Just then Vishesh and Adi come into the hub accompanied by Inspector Vaghale. Vishesh introduces the inspector and says that he is sorry that the employees are forced to stay past their shift hours, but this is an urgent matter and therefore he requires their full cooperation. All the employees agree. Vishesh then tells the inspector that they are all yours. He leaves the hub after telling Adi to come with him.
Vishesh is furious with Adi that so much happened at IC and he was not informed about it. He tells Adi that how could he be so irresponsible. He reminds Adi that because of his recommendation alone, he had appointed Laveena. He says that because of that 1 mistake, IC's name will be mixed in the mud and their reputation will go for a toss. Everybody will think that IC has become an Adda for drug addicts. All the trust they have earned and all the hard work which they have done will go to waste in just a second. He says that I never expected this of Chandini and I had full trust in her. Adi says that he is sorry on Laveena's account, but says that Chandini can never do such a thing and unless they come to know the truth from her, they cannot judge her baselessly. Vishesh just looks at him.
Beeji pleads with the inspector saying that Chandini was with her sister when she was hit with a truck and therefore she has no information at all about any sort of drug racket. Sheeba also pleads with the inspector saying that Chandini will never do such a thing. The inspector finally says that if they want to free Chandini, they have to arrange for bail. Just then Adi comes in with bail papers and says that here is the bail for Chandini. The inspector looks through the papers and says tauntingly to Adi that, oh! You only came personally to free your employee. You must be knowing by now that we have already started inquiry in IC and we will surely find out the truth. He then says what sort of a name is India Calling when its employees do such harkat. Adi just hangs his head and doesn't say anything. The inspector then calls out to someone to free Chandini. Beeji heaves a sigh of relief. Just then Chandini comes there and says Beeji! Beeji turns around and outstretches her hands. Chandini runs into them and the two hug each other tightly. Sheeba and Adi look on at the scene.
Beeji gives dua to Adi saying that rab tera bala kare. Chandini also slowly turns around to look at Adi and says thanks. Adi then replies in an irritated voice that he didn't come there for Chandini's sake, but to safeguard Vishesh's and IC's reputation. He says to Chandini that just because of you, the police have come to IC to enquire if there is a drugs and narcotics racket. He warns Chandini that she better clear up this mess fast and leaves. Sheeba looks after him with an irritated expression on her face. Chandini with tears in her eyes turns and looks at Beeji. Beeji consoles her saying that one day this daag will also be cleansed from her daaman. Chandini then tells Beeji that they should go to the hospital to see Mini didi. They are turning to go when Romeo comes running up and tells them worriedly that they have to go to the chawl soon as tension has broken out. He says that Tulsi, Vidya's saas has told your Babuji everything and now Babuji knows! Beeji and Chandini look at each other shocked.

Preview of next episode: Babuji has come to Mumbai and he is furious with Beeji. He says that so much has taken place and you never bothered to tell me being my mother. Beeji tries to reason with him. But Babuji says that he doesn't care whether Manisha is alive or dead. She has taken the family name into the mud and because of her, he won't let his other daughter follow the same path. Beeji is shocked and asks him what he means. Babuji then says that come what may, I have come to take you and Chandini back to Jalandhar today itself! Chandini listening to this conversation is shocked.
