Hmmm, this case was OK, not as good as the one on Friday, but one of the better ones this year. I was really disappointed by the dismal performances by the supporting cast. BP Singh ji, what's wrong?
Abhijit- I missed him in the beginning but he came on later and stayed thankfully. I really liked the energy, the vigor, the fury in him when he was interrogating the Bablu(?) guy. He reminded me of the old Abhijit and brought back the old spark in him. Where has that been all this while? It was very good to see his old avatar back, especially his intimidating eyes, which could scare a hyena.
Daya- No complaints, as always. He got back his old hairstyle, which made him look so much younger and better. I liked his spontaneous response to Freddy's lame shayari, when he broke open the door. I would like if he spends as much time with Abhijit as with Sachin.
ACP- Flawless, as always. For the past few days, I have seen a little improvement in Satam's Sir acting(not that it wasn't good before) and he is looking younger.
Freddy- I don't approve of his jocular appearance at all, the shayari, the fixed confused look on his face, no seriousness, why is he given such a role, heck, why is there even such a role? This is CID, not Comedy Circus. Even if he does joke around, he should also be contributing to the investigation also.
Sachin- He started down, then went up, and down again. However, I really liked how well he questioned the desceased's wife, he actually looked interested. Other than that, his fixed stoic expressions and wrong tone is just too much.
Kaajal- She is improving as each day goes by. I'm impressed, she has acquired that tough cop face, and hopefully she does wonders later on also.
The forensics- IDK, is this the forensics department or the melodrama department? Rather than focusing on showing the audience on how to collect a DNA sample like before, they are showing how to overact things. Whatever has happened to Narendra Gupta? We keep talking about Daya, Abhijit etc.., but Dr. Salunkhe is also a very essential part of CID and has been there for a long time. But what happened to his seriousness? He is busy doing silly stuff and replying negatively whenever ACP asks him something. Bring the old Dr. Salunkhe back also, B.P.Singh ji. As for Tarika, I won't go there, I want her out, pronto.
Vivek and Tasha- I liked how Vivek is being given more importance but it's not the same with Tasha. Why?
Coming to the shayaris, I think those were supposed to be sarcastic to show the people how the CID team dislikes them, at least that's what I thought.
OK episode, not bad, not good, I hope next week we will be treated to something more special.
