The naxals are running a parallel govt and generating huge amts of funds thru extortion & other illegal means. they play on the peoples emotions and mislead them. The govt must take a firm stand and uproot the menace once for all. It can also reach out to the adivasis in these naxal infested areas and bring them into the mainstream. lot of work needs to be done there.

the main problem of the country is poverty , illeteracy, poor government, corrupt officials and middlemen at every level, and the brutal negiligence of tribal and remote areas by the Government! these are the things that Maoist movements are fed from.
one should look into the corrupt nature of our current poltitcal system and cure it, thats the root to all th problems with maoism!

yah right. point haha.
u know we could start with demanding proper rights and amenities to the neglected tribal areas in Southern bengal and Jharkhand, and addressing the grievances . that could be a starting process of a battle that has a longggg way to go.

yeah we need to integrate these ppl with the mainstream. But everytime roads , bridges or rails are attempted to be built in these areas the naxals blow them up. They clearly want to maintain the status quo. It suits their agenda !
