It makes sense if you are willing to accept the changing behavior on the part of Manju and not otherwise... Like i said she was terrible and did some wrong doings to Abhi and Simi but to punish her now** when she is changing for the betterment of her family is also not the right thing to do ... She has apologized and paid the price (and probably will do it again in the future) by having a daughter in law like Anita and her husband being bed ridden and to even sell her jewelery for her family or for chowki. Small gestures but towards the right path..one step before the other.....
Manju is a mother and yes she has made mistakes and blunders and probably will make more but punishing Manju at this time won't help her ..... character especially when ABHI and R.S have forgiven her and that is what matters!! What Anuj did to her father was more despicable and now he is also forgiven by everyone including R.S himself and he is now changed man... Sorry I disagree with you on the punishment part......⭐️

Yes this is a show and not a reality but isn't that what we are discussing a show with its fault and all and in a show for the sake of entertainment purpose the punishment are sometimes not that severe as in the real life.. so in this show Manju did some horrific things but now after her apologies it is all forgotten so let us go with this notion and Abhi has already forgotten them !!⭐️.....

The character of Abhi might have forgotten everything beause the writers did a crap job of handling the whole situation.

She openly acknowledged the fact and said to SIMI mein tumhaari GUNEHGAAR HOON HO BETA"and she goes on to saying to Abhi I never recognized your good qualities which your uncle ji always did and recognized these wonderful qualities " MIEN APNE PAAPON KA PRAYSHCHIT APNA AASHIRWAAD KE SAATH KARONGI" and I will rectify this by starting with my blessings upon you...... A mother asking for forgiveness.. MAY BE THE CREATIVE'S STYLE .from her SON-IN-LAW.⭐️ Now given she is not openly asking for forgivenss but neither does SIMI in this serial and is always forgiven by ABHI & you can say applle does not fall very far away from the tree would be correct.............The mistake where I am concerned she did again was when she didn't let them leave the 12/24 karol-bagh again and forced them to stay there...😍

Why I am bringing up Anuj...here is why the real culprit is here... he is the one who married for love brought home Anita then stole the F.D and goes on to punish Manju for this & when caught...because of Anita ....SimBhi the first time could not marry or even open this issue openly of their love to her parents and they had to let it go ....OR they might have resolved this issue right there and then....and this Anuj goes on to lose his job by taking too many day offs.. and again brings BHALLA Back into their lives....concocts a plan and in the process incapacitates and disables his father.....and further with the help of his wife tries to get him killed by the Likes of Bhalla....spends one night in jail and is all reformed and a good guy... WE ALL FORGAVE HIM JUST AFTER THAT...WHEN HE IS THE ONE WHO WAS CRIMINAL IN THE TRUE SENSE...⭐️

But as far as the writers are concerned ABHI HAS FORGIVEN MANJU AND SHE IS WRITTEN FORGIVEN JUST LIKE ANUJ may be wrongly but this is how it is...JUST THE SAME WAY SIMI HAS ALWAYS BEEN FORGIVEN BY ABHI IN THE PAST..😍
